I don't have oily skin so take it with a grain of salt but based on the texture which is really lightweight and the overall hydration it provides, I would say that it's a pretty good match for oily skin. I haven't seen many moisturizers this light so I would give it a shot especially for the price
Honestly, I'm kinda in the same situation right now as it's impossible to get their products in Czechia. My best recommendation would be check for the Normal store if you're travelling somewhere (Scandinavia, France even) but other than that I'm not sure there's much to recommend. I don't really have another cowash recommendation similar to this one, sadly 😕
I don't have particularly sensitive skin but it definitely wasn't irritating so I would give it a shot if you have sensitive skin. I don't there's anything in it that might cause a bad reaction but start slow just to be sure :)
Thank you very much ❤I have a "How to build your skincare routine video" where I go into the order and different steps on a very simple level ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-q799sluCvsg.htmlsi=Fd5fqjGm3BjhAo67 and then I did a couple videos about different skincare routines I use that are in the "Come skincare with me!" playlist. These could help 🙂
Oh absolutely! I've talked about their products here and there in my empties videos but I should do a deep dive once I can my hands on majority of their products! I hope they'll get a good distributor in Czech Republic soon 😅
@@madeupmesearch ~ Yes, I hope G&G becomes easier for you to obtain soon :) Watching one of your "empties" videos right now, which does feature G&G ^_^
Also the Ceramide Serum and Peptide Day Cream (which I use at night) are superstars for the skin barrier if mixed with for example Uriag Cica Daily serum, or Vichy 89 Mineral Probiotic Fraction or the more affordable G&G Stress Less serum which is very good for barrier support and skin recovery. The ingredients and order of composition of the peptide cream are superb if we look at the cosmetology-dermatology-chemistry level. The selection of peptides is excellent, with some probiotics, prebiotics and other interesting ingredients. No HA which is often irritable these days if it's low or mid-low elemental weight. Both Retinol serum options disappointed me in every way and I only used it just a couple of times. The one that contains Bakuchiol is not pure retinol but retinyl palmitate which needs one step to become retinol and plus two more steps to convert into retinoic acid in our dermis to boost collagen production. There is a "catch" - the more conversions, the more risk of irritation, even with such low concentrations. Hyaluronic serum is ok, but I prefer one with a lighter texture, in a glass bottle with more types of HA, because molecular weight is important to me.
Thanks for the insights. I don't have any experience with Vichy or Uriage yet so I can't really talk on those but I checked the ingredients and they seem like something I might put onto my list and look into. Honestly the retinol products are kind of hit and miss for me when it comes to these more affordable alternatives. As you mentioned, the ingredients are not that effective + the possible added irritation due to the transformations is there but with these products I feel like I had the other experience. By that I mean that they seem almost too diluted so they are certainly not as effective as my Geek & Gorgeous serum but in my personal experience not irritating at all. It's interesting how much is the HA sensitivity coming up recently, I never had problems with any molecular sizes but I certainly have friends who had weird reactions to products and it turned out to be HA. I like that there's more variety in hydrating products now so you can just skip HA altogether if it's causing issues. I don't think that was really an option a couple years back when HA was literally everywhere. But yeah, as I try to mention as often as possible that I'm not a cosmetic chemist or an esthetician so these reviews are just my observations and experiences + some basic level research to give people an idea about the products. I sure hope that if someone's looking to buy a product with any type of retinol they do their own deep dive or consult a specialist.
Thank you for this honest review❤💐🌻🩷. I have mixed skin. All these products work very well for me. Balea AHA 6% + Niacinamide 5% is one of my favourites, even though my skin is prone to irritation and it's very reactive. Balea Beauty Expert BHA left my skin burning for the first time after "overdosing" - honestly, I used too much of this exfoliating toner, but, eventualy, over time I got used to the PC dupè and quite liked it. I thought it was something light, not too invasive because I also use stronger peels that contain alcohol, high concentrations of acids, etc. But I had "tretinoin-like" peeling and something similar to retinoic dermatitis. Then Balea low dose Acid Cleanser is very mild for me and I really like that product. I can (and I do) use mid to high end brands like NeoStrata, Drunk Elephant, SkinCeuticals, Biotherm, Clinique and alike - for self-research purposes, but there are only a few products from that high end industry that suit my skin. I must mention that I analyzed the composition in every single detail and came to the conclusion that many High End brands do not have such a good composition, but instead sell their name and trademark. Still, I have few very favourires un that part of cosmetic industry, but I'm trying to learn not to be spoiled and blinded by the brand name itself, but to focus on realistically good results.
Cleansing oils can be a little tricky but this Balea Cica one and also their cleansing oil with the purple label work really well 🙂 I prefer the cica one because I can use less of it and it's really effective 👌
Yeey, you got the glasting tint in rose stream. I was realy curious how you liked it. I got the Nucadamia shade in the meanwhile, because I found it on sale at the local pharmacy, but Rose Stream and Bare Grape are next on my list. How do you find the glasting tints compared to the juicy tints texture-wise? To me the juicy seems a bit more sticky and heavy than the glasting. I so love the smell of the glasting tints though 😱😍 Wish there was a body spray with that smell.
So far I love the texture of the glasting tints even more and they fade really nicely so you don't have to worry about them at all 😍 also definitely lighter and less sticky even when I don't really mind the stickiness 😁I have bare grape on my list as well, it looks wonderful! Thanks again for the recommendation ❤️
I gave up on a+a because it’s essential for me to know the percentages of certain ingredients (I’m sensitive to some things). Customer service won’t tell about the exact amount of certain ingredients such as like niacinamide. On top of that they were incredibly rude.
Sorry to hear that. I also prefer to know that about certain ingredients but I tend to be most sensitive to exfoliants like AHAs and I didn't use any from Q+A so I didn't investigate enough.
@@lotuscabrio2937Then you’re tone of the lucky ones. They told me they won’t tell because it’s a „trade secret“. I wrote several mails and I’m not willing to crawl back again and again. Those mails very very rude.
I gave up makeup a while ago, except for lipsticks and lip tints and stuff, yet I still like to look at all you makeup videos, but especially the skincare ones. Really curious about the products you show here, except for the caffeine eye serum. I don't know if it's just me, but caffeine eye serums (and actually eye serums in general that contain de-puffing ingredients) tend to give me fine lines and make my skin look old and dry, even if I use a moisturiser over it.
Thank you so much ♥ for me it's really a hit or miss. I had a couple ones that were pilling up a lot and made me look a lot older but this one in particular works well for me, it's just enough hydrating. But in the evening it wouldn't be enough so I would put something more occlusive on top for sure
Yeey! Glad to see you trying these. My fave is the Glasting Water Tint one because the colour is more transparent than the fixing tint and it separates from the glossy part. I just wish they made more muted colours, because even the muted ones look very bright. Jujube looks extremely bright in your video, I tested it irl and it seemed more muted, I wonder if it's the camera making it like this, or it looks diferent of diferent skintones. I got the shade Red Drop, but I am super curious about the famous Rose Stream colour, but sadly i can't find it anywhere in my country, it's out of stock. I hear it's a MLBB colour.
Yeah the bright colors are acting up on camera all the time 😅 but it's still very bright on me as I'm pretty pale, just a little less neon and little more muted in real life but still very THERE 😀the Glasting Water Tint looks lush! I have to give it a try. Sad that Rossmann only had such a limited amount of products 🥲 I tried to look for the Rose Stream shade but couldn't fidn it either!
@@madeupmesearch Oh that's great, thanks! Am super curious about that shade because everybody has been raving about it on tiktok and reddit and stuff 🤭 The industry seems to either make extremely bright lipsticks, or lipsticks that are so light and muted that would only fit a ghost, either too cool, or too warm 😂 I'm like, chillax, guys, make some natural shades for a change, people's lips don't look like that. Same goes for foundation shades, either too yellow, too pink, too bright, too grey etc.
@@monio.9444 Yeah, I agree that they're going really hard on the undertones lately, foundation matching has been a nightmare. I cannot decide if they improved the shade ranges by making them so obvious or actually made it harder to find a good match 😅 I'm glad that they at least stopped making every lipstick launch 10 shades of reds and pinks that I won't wear, that's an improvement over the last 10 years of makeup production 😄 also! I placed an order today and added the Rose Stream tint so I'll make sure to include it in a makeup tryon video as soon as I can
@@madeupmesearch Omg can't wait to see the rose stream. 2 days ago I ordered shade number 05 Rose Splash because Romand calls it a MLBB for cool tones. Today it arrived and it's actually pretty purple and not very subtle :)) Maybe for a dark winter it would be a MLBB shade. So they say 08 Rose Stream is more subtle amd more warm toned, I'm curious to see. Even to this day I'm not perfectly sure what my undertone is (i just know my overtone is warm), but trying on Rose Splash makes me think I'm not at all a cool undertone because that thing looks wrong on me 😆
Hi there, you were way ahead of time on the brush reviews! I have the one for concealer and just bought the one for foundation :) THANK YOU so much for the review, it was great to have your opinion based on a month of use (not just a one-wear test) and to have the video with application at the same time!!
Thanks! I checked the website just to be sure and it seems like you can use it daily if you want. I don't really think it's neccessary to exfoliate the skin on the daily (especially longterm) but if you want, you should be fine. Keep in mind though that it's still na exfoliant so it can irritate your skin if you over do it
Heyyy thanks for the detailed review. Just one question!! Are these jelly cleansing bottles and mist bottles reusable??? I have already placed my order for their products and I was wondering if I can reuse them by adding my gel based cleansers in the bottles if I’m traveling 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Hi, I recall trying to open them when I used them all up but I don't think I've been able to do that 😥 It's a shame though, because the bottles are great! I hope they'll switch to a refill system like many other brands do these days
Thank you for review! You saved me from purchasibg and probably regreting! I do have the wash and I was thinking about buying the pre-wash, but now I think I will hold off, but will buy conditioner. Btw, what is the smell of these, specifically conditioner and leave in?
Thank you for taking time to make this review 😁 ehat is smell of the styling soufle? I am condering to try but I am not fan of overly fragnaced products
I would say it's pretty heavily fragranced and I don't usually care but you can smell it in the hair for a very long time especially if you combine it with other products from the range 😅 maybe check out the Shine range that is fragrance-free! They don't have a souffle gel but there are two gel options without the overwhelming fragrance
Thank you so much for review. I agree about the foam, was quite disappointed…given how much influencers rave about it. On the hunt to understand if I did something wrong, I just saw a video where it was said to use it sparingly, maybe that was it 🤔 btw i tried innersense i crrate lift at the same time and love it. Thank you for tip about CGN as sub for featherlight cream - I will try that 😁 Honestly, I don’t understand why your videos don’t have more views! I love how unbiased you are. I feel everyone just raves about it and it is annoying to buy and be disappointed. How are the smells of these? 🤔I bought style balm and boy oh boy, that was very fragranced (albeit very good product).
Thank you so much! ❤️ The strength range is still very fragranced but I personally find it less intense than the moisture range because I like it better I guess 😀 but it can be intense in all leave-in products and it lingers too
Do they sell L'oreal or elf where you live? The L'oreal Telescopic Lift really does lift your lashes and holds them up. It's a pretty intense mascara, so if you prefer a more natural one that will actually hold a curl, the elf Lash n Roll is good too.
I tried the Telescopic Lift in two videos some time ago and first time I completely missed how to use it 😀 the second time went better but it feels like a lot on the lashes and I have like 3 layers of lashes growing out of my lids so it gets heavy through the day. But I agree that it's pretty intense. Thanks for the e.l.f. recommendation, it sounds exactly like what I might like and they don't sell it here but I was looking to place an order soon anyway to try their new lip oils so I'll definitely give it a shot!
I use this line but i use shampoo 0 and then the conditioner without the two masks you talked abt, and my hair gets like really dry and my hair starts sticking and becomes really hard to detangle, even if i use alot of the conditioner, and i just found it super wierd. I also only ise the 5 step curling cream for styling, when im done with my shower and it doesnt really moisturise, it just makes my hair dry like i put a ton of gel that dried inside of it. I then use my own curly oil that doesnt really make my hair smooth and soft again. So yeah i really dont know what i should do cause i also have the type hair you do. But the line realky doesnt work for me. And its wierd cause i have used that curl cream forever but as soon as i got the shampoo and conditioner my hair has looked horrible
Hi, sorry to hear they didn't work well for you. I didn't use the shampoo 0 so I'm not sure how effective it is but in my experience this conditioner is not enough without an additional mask to moisturize the hair after deep cleansing, that could be the main problem. Other than that, the curling cream is pretty protein heavy so if your hair doesn't need/like protein it can cause that "dry" feel and tangled hair and it was probably dryed out from the wash as well. It's weird if the cream worked for you before, but I would probably look into the different combinations and use the conditioner only for regular washes. Also, maybe you need a leave-in or a different hydrating/moisturizing product in the routine to balance out that protein heavy cream as well...hair is difficult, so many ideas 😀
I don’t think you should use shampoo step 0 every time. It is only for clarification once in a while (like once a month or once a week depending on how often you wash your hair) and should absolutely deep condition after that. For regular washes, you should use the shampoo from step 1 or co-wash plus conditioner/deep conditioner. If you hair is very dry (which it seems it is), you should also use leave in and then curl cream and lock it in with gel/mouse. Oils usually don’t moisturize they seel the moisture that you put with conditioning productions (conditioner/leave in). Hope this helps 😁
Fun to watch you! But that powder-what a let down! Someone else said it was like a straight up highlighter. Know any setting or finishing powders you can recommend? Drugstore
Yeah, even some months later the powder is not my favorite. I have some recommendations but depends if you prefer more matte or more natural/glowy finish. I really like the Lottie London setting powde Revlon Canid powder e.l.f. Halo Glow powder Rimmel Stay Matte is a classic and I like the Kind & Free powder a lot too. And Kiko does some great powders like the Hydrating Matte Powder that is like Charlotte Tilbury dupe! My skin is all over the place though and sometimes I need more matte and sometimes more hydrating :D Not sure I helped but these I love!
