Hi, my name is Werner and I live in the Italian Alps. On this channel I'm doing tutorials on filmmaking and photography. Here you can also find reviews of cameras and lenses. And of course you will find many images of the beautiful Italian Alps. Have fun with my videos.
I love how all your videos hate on the GoPro BUT you constantly make gopro content. Why? Because they absolutely run the action cam market and this is how you get views.
Amazing video. But we also want to see the comparison between Iphone and android phones such as Vivo and friends to see the different quality of cinematic video.
I wish the telephoto lens had also gotten an upgrade in megapixels. Same with the front camera. But we have to wait another year, before we see that. I also feel like close up macro shots aren't even that good. I have used the 16 pro max and it struggles to focus on anything, if I go close up or even back up a little bit. But my 13 pro max seems to do the job. I'm not sure if it's just the one I have or if an update will fix it. But macro has not been good. I'm pretty sure it's the opposite for most people
Thats because it wasn't shot in log. Also show me a "real" camera which can do 4k120fps for the same price as the iPhone with multiple lenses and is also a phone at the same time. Vastly different use cases. Advancement in the area of phone cameras is great for amateurs getting into things.
The built in battery is a huge disappointment. So you have to charge it every single time it runs out, instead of swapping the battery on the go. Downtime charging when the action begins is awful!
I am really struggling with the low angle shots. I'm trying to get video of my two corgis from their level.. The problem is, how to get them in focus and tracking when your phone is not up where you can reach the controls. Have any tips for this? Subscribing.
Want to say big thank you for making this video, haven't tested your settings yet, but my experience with hero 12 is terrible. Appaled, that hero 7 can run on automatic and produce 10x better image in low light foggy conditions than my hero 12 garbage that I need to tweak so many options to extract a decent image. My hero 7 performs 10x better in low light foggy conditions on river/ocean than my hero 12 that gives huge grainy/noise image, very disappointed, because most spectacular moment of my life that was captured on her0 12 turned out to be super dim/dark/grainy and ugly, where as my back up camera of hero 7 gave crisp great images with 4k settings, too bad my backup camera wasn't recording the primary event, but was a background camera.
although x4 gives bigger image on wide lens, the background has less details and the image doesn't looks as immersive as the hero, in hero even though its more cropped, the background image still gives you better detail of the background and better image quality
The problem with the 360X3/X4 camera is the distortion and flattening of water fearures say for windsurfing when focusing on rider. I love the framing flexibility but not the distortion. A Gopro has problems of framing but much less distortion.
One other reviewer set the shutter on his action 5 to 1/120 and shot at 30FPS. Normal, no night mode and his lower light footage looks insane. He claims that you have to quadruple the shutter speed to avoid jitteriness. Is that accurate? It seemed to work amazingly on his camera. Love your thoughts on that!
@@MountMediaChannel I’m looking for a small action camera, not for action, but for mall walking tours, city walks and walks at night in the city lights. My GoPro can do it but it doesn’t look great. It’s best in daylight, where it is very good. I was about to buy the ace pro but then the action 5 just dropped. Do you think the action 5 is a good option for evening and night walking videos? And mall walking? Or would ace pro be best? I’ve also considered the Go3S, because I love how small it is, but unsure if it can do low light.
now that the DJI action 5 is out, this x4 looks like yesterday's overpriced junk, it's low light doesn't even compare to the action 5 , or come close to a true 4k super sharpe video. I got the x3 hot junk that renders to 1080p that no tuber clown ever mention and hype hot trash for people to buy and waste their money
Whats great is when shooting pro res log or pro res you can record to an external drive - which I did not know SO if ya didnt you can format a good fast and small usb c or nvme drive as exfat, plug it into your phone and boom!
@@MountMediaChannel I just obtained the 16pro (up’d from a 13 pro) and knowing this will definitely snag a little rig with drive caddy. The log video is great especially if you use Black Magic Camera app to control all your settings manually!
@@haunthops Ok - I've used the Filmic Pro App in the past for manual control - but will have a look at the Black Magic Camera App - have fun with your iPhone - it's a great device for filming!
