I have 95,000 miles on my 2021 M3P and just had my battery replaced for the 3rd time and am on vacation in Las Vegas and this code just came up. Hopefully this works to get me to limp back to the Central Valley in CA. Thanks for the video
@@MitEclipse91 I was able to make it back home the 415 miles home no problem. I really appreciate it. About 1000 miles after I pulled the plug in LV and reset it, it happened again (this last Friday). It was a lot less happy this time lol. I have an appt in Gilroy tomorrow, to have it looked at. It wouldn’t let me charge again and after I updated the cars software, it let me charge again. I didn’t have enough range to make it to Gilroy from home, but for some reason the update let it charge again. You really saved my butt and I really can’t thank you enough!
My 05 bought used in 08 with 6900 miles has 72k miles on it now, I still rip it up. Never been in the shop only had one small electrical issue with the grounding block, but I just cut all the grounds and soldered them together problem solved that was 8 years ago. Change the oil when needed and these engines last forever.
@@maxfoster23 still hasn’t came back.. almost 3 weeks out… its kinnnnddaaaa sorta lookin like your don’t know what you’re talking about. But we’ll see how this plays out.
@@oggyoggy1299 I still haven’t had a single problem. From what I’ve read this is teslas fix for it. They take it in and look at it and unplug the plug and replug it in and say you’re good to go. This guy above is just trying to scare people into not doing it. The car still works 1000 percent the way it should
Hi pal It's been 2 years since you install that clear clutch cover and I want to know if you had any issues since. Appreciate it you can provide any updates
Exactly same issue on Mine gen 4, Just ordered new fuel pump and filter , mine does this when it s really Warm , can t hit the rev limiter , greetings from Italy
If I were trying to grow a YT channel, I’d probably keep my political opinions to myself. Particularly when the videos are being exported to OS markets, where the opinion being expressed isn’t very popular. But, that’s an opinion too. Maybe you’re not trying to grow the channel 🤷🏼♂️
Hold the throttle wide open and then hold the start button. It will crank the engine over without starting, which will spin the oil pump and force the trapped oil out. You only have to hold the start button for a few seconds. You can do this on any fuel injection engine. It is for clearing a fuel flooded engine.
LOL People are just plain stupid. Yamaha specifies the FIRST time you need to check the valve clearance is... 24,000 miles. I bought mine brand new, and almost 15 years later I'm still on the original engine, even though I have a spare one sitting on a stand- the OG just keeps running perfectly. Look at my videos. I ride it the way it was made to be ridden. I've used motul 300V since day one, and when I change the clutch, or open the valve cover, the internals are spotless. Quality bike, Yamaha builds them right.
There is a difference between road miles and race miles. So 27k race miles is indead high where as well maintained road miles it’s low. Just for people looking to buy a higher mileage bike to consider
That mileage is not an issue. These bikes can do 100k easy, as long as it isn’t ran in red line a lot. Main thing that is most important besides regular oil changes, make sure you keep the air filter CLEAN! I run Mobile 1 4T Racing Synthetic oil in mine. Also have K&N air filters . I like to have two, one fresh one ready to go if I don’t have time to clean and oil it at that moment. Lower mileage, older bikes are not always a good thing. Depends on how and what kind of environment it’s stored in. Outside in rain and high humidity can lead to electrical connection issues, etc. K&N filters are high flow type, that’s why oiling them is required to keep dust out of your engine.
@@MitEclipse91 That's interesting and good to know. I'm on the fence with which exhaust to buy and part of that is the tuning. Now I'm completely unsure.
