The big question is does the ATF help Hollywood with firearm information, or does Hollywood help the ATF?
@@musicman1195 No I recognize the male actor from Firefly, and it's super unrealistic. When was the last time a cop didn't put their vest on at the start of a shift? Bad writing.
@williamrobertson892 they wear armor under their uniform while on patrol, to appear more approachable. It was a story point in one of the episodes. They use additional vests over their uniforms when needed.

Prof's right. 1. Cops don't have to identify themselves if they're undercover. On top of that, Nolan isn't on the job during this, so why would he need to? 2. Even if Nolan did ID himself, who's to say none of the others would turn around and tell their buddies that a cop is in their class? 3. Teachers are mandatory reporters. Guess who would be included in that category? That's right: college professors. 4. Who's also to say that none of the others wouldn't snitch on you for fessing up to a crime?
