This is quite an interesting and enjoyable concert. Having followed Mr Beggs for years, through E,B&H to The Mute Gods I have a lot of respect for him. The others are pretty decent musicians too, and the music is well-written, although it suffers from a lack of dynamics that is partly due to the dreadful nature of Simmons drums. The worst thing for me is the audience of screaming girls! It seems obvious to me that the band had musical aspirations beyond the 'teeny-bopper' audience that they had here, whereas Limahl seems to relish it. Thus I can understand why they let him go. At least they had some success.
