My connection to Our Lady of the Angels is a friendship with the sister of an 8th grade fire victim, and my pastor taught with a former lay teacher from OLA that was teaching the day of the fire. She could never talk about that day.
I was in Chopin about a mile away with Teacher Mr Zak the day of the fire - Mr Zak had relative there - I believe that was 5th grade and I will never forget that day - I have feared smoke ever since that day -
Well , I have never really made time for prayer a priority. But after listening to Mark, I realised how important it is to make time for prayer and reading the Bible. Mark sleeps at 7.30pm so that he can get up early at dawn and spend time with the Lord . It is just like Jesus did too. he woke at the crack of dawn and goes off by himself to spend with The Father. That is real commitment.

This is my favorite Mass on RU-vid. The Cardinal speaks from the heart in his homilies, the music is beautiful, it captures the sacredness of being there. God be praised!
