Today, 2023, a good example can be had in the UK for about £20,000 Restoration is a possible DIY but won't be cheap. I just hope the buyer got it at a sensible price.

That’s quite exquisite. I’m restoring a ‘72 at the moment and I have the Holley 390 to fit. I also have a large bore system in SS from the heads back. I’d be keen to hear more about what you have done regarding fettling the carb.
Lovely car but why not turbo, waste of power, engine sounds rattly as hell, Door gaps look shite too, all that money and didn't get the fundamentals right Confused
I bought a 1959 MK IX in 1969, drove it continually, am finally selling it after more than 51 years of wonderful driving. I'll miss the car, but I'll also miss the many great conversations it would spark when it was parked outside & at exhibitions.
2.42What a beautiful old jag I owned a mark 2 it was a 1964 It was a 2.4 litre automatic i bought it in 1977 for 700 hundred pounds it had only done 47 thousand miles it belonged to chivas regal whiskey 🥃 it had been chauffeured driven its life unfortunately a french artic ran me into the crash barrier and wrote it off the basdard never stopped
I've gone through 20+ cars over the years, but the Triumph Herald coupé was probably the most fun to drive, despite its tiny engine. Fantastic turning circle about 25 feet
