You know when some numbers look like flaked away like worn away bad ? Because they were done crappy with crappy paint like this guy does. Doesn't even fill in the stencil break lines. Lazy.
San Francisco Bay Area, I charge $30 and do a quality job using multiple coats of fast drying traffic paint. Takes maybe 20 minutes but looks WAY better. I don't spray anything. Brush in the numbers two coats and guarantee it to last 5 years. Except tire scuffing. And i use nicer looking number stencils. I offer a couple different styles to choose from.
Looks perfect! My issue is when I line up the stencil (having to use 2 to make a 4 digit street number) the stencil isn’t flush to the wall so I have to try to tape it in place but it doesn’t really work because the curb has a bend to it so every stencil has a decent amount of overspray. Any ideas?
Wear a glove and as you do one number at a time besides it being taped down apply pressure with hand. Or I use some pieces of Jenga wood to push back the numbers.
Hola! How much are your prices? Im asking because my daughters want to start making their own money, especially now that they're on their summer vacation... how much do you charge per address?
I love your idea of offering a logo in there, but you spend a lot of profit buying more tape. In another video I saw that the man use cut 5 inch strips of floor mat rubber to use for what you are taping down. It may save you money.
Me and my team have been renewing our US lots and learned that Fox Valley is the best for DIY. They've been around since 1970 and their machines, paints and stencils are clearly of a much higher quality than any of the home improvement store brands. FOXVALLEYPAINT.COM
How not to paint a address number the wrong way. WIre brush prep?, brush surface dirt away? primer? More layers of paint, it will get grainy & fade. More overspray coverIng. uv resistant seal coating? & reflective glass for night visability? I fill in the number bridges. Thats how its done, but it costs to do it the right way. I dont see the point in posting a video that has imperfection, becuase anything else is not shown, or done after the video.
Appreciate the professional advice....so many people acting like they are pro's just to sell information,or create A channel.......what folks don't realize is those that have done this for years aren't going to be making videos .......why create more competition.....,and seriously don't think anyone would care to pay what one would charge , considering its.hard to put A price on actual experience...

Don't buy products from this company! They are a scam. Perhaps one time they were a legitimate business but not now. My son purchased their gold kit over $250 and they sent nothing. They do not answer their phone or emails!! Do NOT purchase from this company!!
Hence gold kit probably had or was supposed to have all the NFL, NBA, NHL. Part of world soccer teams, college football and basketball teams, Then pick a number whether one each or 3 of each, black, white, and clear coat paint. Set of dozen roll's of paint. Wire brush, etc etc, you should get the hint. Gold package could have 1000$ worth of supplies, heck I mean he can put anything he wants on the gold package since he ain't sending any of it anyway...
I keep having dripage on angles, like driveways, the paint runs down. it might be the spray paint I'm using, and I'm thinking about painting the numbers with a brush because of this, but it's very frustrating. Caution to anyone just starting
I saw someone else posted this same problem, and I am using rustolium, but I think the nozzle sticking from previous paints might be my problem, because it's hard to get it going, then it comes out too thick and runs. .. are there better nozzles to buy for this maybe?
Try using a better spray tip. You can find all kinds at most art supply companies. The kind taggers use. Also, don't spray so heavy. Don't hold down. Use short quick burst. The drips come from to much paint being sprayed in one spot. You also can experiment with how far away you hold the can. You want to be close enough that the paint goes on wet, but not far enough for the paint to dry before it hits the curb. If this happens. It won't last long.
@@biancab.4944 Runs are virtually always the result of applying paint too heavily. Use several really light coats rather than one heavy coat and you’ll have no runs.
