Wow, unbelievable... Coming from Europe I was not used to such a busy airspace at all. I had to fly some hours to get used to all of the traffic in the air in the Orlando area...

Hello Skywalk ! It depends. The airstrip is not normally open to the public. In order to land there you need to file a communication for a derogatory flight. Sounds funny but this is how they call it. You can get in touch with Trento Tower LIDT. Those people there are very helpful and they will be able to answer your questions. Just make sure you have an explicit permission before you fly to Tonale. Also you need a Mountain rating, at least for regular aircraft like the Husky. Without this MOU rating you are not granted permission - might be different though for UL. For most mountain airstrips in Italy you also need to be a member of the AIPM - ASSOCIAZIONE ITALIANA DEI PILOTI DI VOLO IN MONTAGNA. Check out the web page www.aipm.it The club takes care of the mountain strips and ensures that everything is in order with the authorities. Let me know if you need further information. Hi ! I absolutely love it too. It is actually just a GoPro 10 with the Max Lens Mod - which in turn is basically just a wide angle lens. However it has a special digital stabilization setting when using this mod.

It is a lot of fun... Northern Italy is a great spot for mountain flying. Especially the Bolzano Area is full of tiny mountain landing strips.

Thanks for commenting ! There was hardly any wind noticeable during the approach even though a huge thunderstorm cell was closing in from the east. Unfortunately the battery on the Go-Pro ran out just 2 miles before landing 😮
