After a few of the more recent Yakuza games I’m addicted to these games. Love them to bits. I love the fact that in theory these games shouldn’t work. The wacky side missions shouldn’t mix with the more serious main quest. The fact they make this work so well really impressed me.
All of the music in the video is from Harris' Streambeats. The music chosen for this video was from their Chiptunes collection. I forget the name of the specific track, but you should still be able to find and download it on their Google Drive.
Why the hell did you NOT talk about the weakness system for the shareholder meetings?! It's KEY to opening up the shareholders for damage (I can't believe what i'm typing right now looking at it all again) I noticed in the footage you used you wasted a lot of time breaking them down one shield at a time when hitting them with their weakness breaks all 3 shields at once.
I created a supplemental guide about the shareholder meetings and pinned the comment hoping most people that watched this video would see it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wv8Gzq1Jvnc.html There is also an more comprehensive guide of Like a Dragon with more details, it's my latest upload.
The Premium Adventure Mode: You use game clear data to load into premium adventure (the post-game free roam), where you can complete any tasks you didn't finish in the main game (substories, minigames, completion list, etc.).
Everyone, all you need to hire is the monkey. It's a zoo substory you complete in the park. The monkey will destroy all shareholders no sweat, promote the monkey's management skill as you run the business and you'll do just fine. No need to do any rock scissors thing either. The monkey is op, kinda like moonveil in Elden Ring.
I love this game however my advice would be just play it. You’ll pick up the nuances as you go and to be honest it’s hardest at the start. As you get better staff you’ll end up destroying these meetings easily. Only reason I don’t keep playing it now is because end dungeons makes many times more than this.
I’d say just take it slow. You’ll naturally improve. The hardest part is early on up to the first shareholder meeting. After that point you’ll not have a problem and the money it gets you will help you through the rest of the main game. Fantastic mini game. Love it.
Absolutely use Goro Majima (eye patch) and Seonhee (purple hair). The both present high charisma and only require 4 and 6 pts respectively, very low for such impact, get em - worth every penny. Best damn board members for these meetings, period. You really only need to use Ichiban's Level 1 apology to refill your energy meter. Spamming Goro typically works but occassionally switch to Seonhee when people resist his initial retorts. Near maxing profits, I would max raise my best employees and fully train them for that added boost to keep all the extremely profitable and upgraded properties in the blue. Most of the focus was on swapping and upgrading properties until Rank 10 or so, then I started giving raises and training - billions in capital to work with. Couldn't find a way to extract it to Ichiban (amazing if I just overlooked that) but each shareholder meeting at Rank 1 pays out like 3 million yen, pretty solid. I made tons in save/reload Poker in the hidden bathroom Casino as well, Texas Hold'em doesn't take too long to learn and it's pretty fun but hard to get epic hands - amazing when you do. Royal Flush is the peak of luck, some supernatural level luck.
Fuck so thays why i cant take the taxi to certain places i never interacted with some because i didnt need too but now i know if u do i can go to that area. Man this game doesnt tell u much lol you kinda have to learn it on your own as you go
Nah, you're fine. You can come back to zero later, as it is a prequel. It's not mandatory to play it first and no small number of people suggest Kiwami as the best place to start. It's a remake of the original Yakuza title on the PS2. I usually recommend zero to people because it keeps them invested until the end and gives them the desire to play all the games. But there is a chance you might even enjoy zero more playing through to Yakuza 5 first.
I don't imagine a Switch port being very likely anytime soon, as much as the community would love it. However, most of the RGG games run excellently on the portable gaming PCs that have been coming out, like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally. So, we're not completely out of luck. ☺
Thank You, the in game tutorial for this is terrible and the first time playing the mini game you are thrust onto a screen with a timer counting down and a bunch of icons and gauges on the screen that aren’t explained. This is what I needed.
These mini games are so poorly explained in-game. After this video I'm still confused wtf is going on. And the speed of the questions are just insane imo
How do you use the unorthodox objects, like the modified lighter or the slime spray, on the PC version? Everywhere on the internet, people only ever explain it with the controller, and I'm on mouse and keyboard. The game doesn't tell you. I've tried using them as Heat actions, regular attacks, combination attacks... nothing seems to work. Do you know? Any help on this would be appreciated. I played through all of Yakuza 0 without figuring it out, now I'm on Kiwami, and I'm playing through the whole Yakuza series for the first time, so... kinda noob over here. :)
This is a really hard concept to explain without telling viewers exactly what they need to do step by step. You did a great job, as I move through the minigame I rewatch the video and it starts to make more and more sense. If you watched this video and are still confused, just dive in. You can always back out of the management minigame and drop a hard save at Eri's desk before shareholder meetings or making significant expenditures to your business when in doubt.
I’m annoyed that there wasn’t a proper hold my hand walkthrough for the shareholders meeting so i at least knew what a good meeting looked like. The game had been very good at this up to this point so I don’t get why they wouldn’t do something for a thing as complicated is running a business.
Thanks for watching. Here's a proper run-through of all the shareholder-meeting considerations: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wv8Gzq1Jvnc.html
Was enjoying the game till this part. They do an absolutely horrible job teaching this. They don't teach shareholder meetings at all. Thanks for the tutorial
