I guess I've just been so caught up in the Pet Sematary, I did not see this coming at all! What a great tribute Jolene. Love the way your mind works. Those Strombecker pieces look more 1930s than they ever did when they were manufactured! They are so perfect. I am crazy in love with the whole bathroom and your fixtures! Omgosh the Polaroid! So cute! And the key! The vintage Fluorette bulbs are amazing! I can't wait for it all ❤️❤️❤️🥰✨
Finally caught up to the newest Sematary video , love the entrance and sign , looks so good . A Missing poster for one of the missing kids from IT would look good nailed to one of the trees . Excited to see the circular sematary section come to life and the construction of Room 217 / 237 .
Thank you so much for watching and sharing that brilliant idea. When I come back to this project I will be adding some climbing greenery to the entrance and the poster would be awesome in either the cemetery or the front. I'll have to find a place. I do plan on adding some other details to a couple of the trees in the cemetery. ❤️🥰
We will consider it a swap because you sent me so many amazing piece for my Shining project when I was working on it that I cherish (yep, one of those is the book)❤❤ I am happy I can provide the room to house all these beautiful creations! I am so so excited about this project.. this part of the movie still scares me so much still😯
🥰 I still have yet to return to the screen. I think after my busy streak ends, I will get to be able to finish some pieces that I am working on for others..which will be a nice break. I think the scariest part of the movie for me is every time the Grady girls show up..it's so unexpected. I just think about how I would probably be so scared, paralysis would set it.🫣
This is going to be SO GOOD!!! I had been wondering what all those pieces you made were going to be for, you just kept teasing us with your mystery project. And now we know finally!!! I'm so nosey, so this was killing me with curiosity lol. Looking forward to watching this build!
Lol, now you know what they say Nessie about curiosity killing the cat.🤭🫣 Thank you so much! Yes, I am super swamped with all this work and the videos coming up. I have tons of giveaways coming up, so please make sure to enter in all of them.🥰❤️
So excited to see this develop and ever since you gave me those clues I’ve been waiting for the reveal! Such a fabulous way to honour Shelley Duval! Can’t wait for the build ❤❤❤ 0:15
The boxes with slits in the top were for tissue boxes, so that it would match your decor…back in the day the tissues boxes were plain, not printed, so you would put it under the box and pull the tissues from the top.
Girl!!!! I been saying the same thing about Burger King for years. Craving it as we speak. Only fast food I like and haven't gotten to eat it in some time. Love all your work. Big fan.
Right!! SO GOOD!! Here's something I recently learned about BK..they have coupon codes, and you can use the same code over and over until new codes come out. No coupon needed. Just give them the code at the drive thru. I've memorized some of them🤣😂🤣 thank you so much for all your support!🥰❤️
This is going to be a cool project; so much fun! I am going to have to watch the movie again because it's been so many years since I've seen it, about the only detail I remember is that it scared the heck out of me! I love Shelly Duvall. She was terrific and very convincing in The Shining, but my favorite was Popeye also. That was just a really fun movie. I look forward to watching this project come together. Have fun!
Thank you era for the room box . Oh my it does fit the scene 🫨Jolene the pieces you’ve been working on are perfect this is going to be so cool thank you for the link💕💕💕💕
The bathroom set looks so cool. I am going to say those unknown boxes could be toilet seat liners in a commercial bathroom setting . In a home from 1924 it would Kleenex. This is a fun idea.❤
I knew, I have been waiting for this, you have made some cool bits already❤ yes you are right the things with the slots are tissue holders. To save the posh guests from using loo paper for sneezing or whatever lol! I have seen them in restaurant bathrooms. A long time ago, you know the type of places that had a person to help the guests and bottles of perfume etc.
Thank you so much. I can't believe I forgot to paint the inside white..How did I miss that. Lol when you see it in the project, now that its white inside..it looks so much better❤️🥰
I loved Shelley Duvall. I remember her also in all the Fairytale Theater Stories she hosted and were in. And in the shining she was amazing, but sadly abused horribly by the director. SO sad. But that movie was so good. Oh yes, Olive Oil too, she was so fun in that and played it so well. She really had a sad life though with lots of ups and downs. Did you know that in the 70s her boyfriend was Paul Simon? I just found that out. I am glad the end of her life things were looking better for her and she was getting the respect she deserved. Dr. Phil was so horrid in how he treated her when she was in a super bad state of mind. Disgusting man!
I didn't know she was with Paul Simon.wow! She looked very runned down in her last years. But she has fun doing her last movie. Dr.Phil is for show only..it is terrible.
You are too cute Jolene! Love what you said about BK tasting how it did when you were a kid. The detail on the cup is astounding! 😮That clear wax has been adding to my craft shopping list. OMG the sardines in the can! You are so amazing ! Your snakes are right at home in the scene. Couldn't be more perfect!🥰✨
Thank you so much 🤗 I have new greenery to add to the front. Even tho I said I was done. I have been waiting for it to come in..it's a pack of dried miniature vines😍 Burger really does taste the same and they always have coupon codes that you can use over and over again until the new code comes out. Lol🥰❤️
Super ideas here, Jolene, I just ordered a kit off eBay for a hall tree as I wanted to give it a try. You have given me heaps to be going on with here❤
Thank you so much. Oh I didn't know they have halltree kits on ebay. I love Ara's kits. They are super easy and fun and can easily be modified. Have fun with your kit!🥰❤️
I've been totally fascinated throughout this whole video Jolene, its beautiful. Wood glue is such a wonderful asset to a miniaturists arsenal of tools. The violin is gorgeous!
Thank you so much..this was so fun to make..I thought it would be a challenge, but honestly the hardest part was breaking the Fiddle down into parts on the computer. I'm glad you enjoyed it ❤️🥰
I've seen the 1989 version. It scared the hell out of me as a kid. But i was watching it with my dad. Whenever I watched scary movies with my dad he'd try to explain how the practical effects were done so i knew it wasn't real. That started my fascination with sfx makeup and film
Thanks so much! 🥰❤️ Awesome story. I try to explain to my grandson how it works not with scary movies..yet! But at the halloween store and he has watched me build all the decorations every year. He has loved the animatronics all his life. When he was just toddl'n round he loved those things ..always had to set them off. They knew us well at the store.. we would go just to give him something to do..lol 😊
Thank you so much. I can definitely say the same about your work.😍 I love the cup..lol I know you started adding paint to the antique wax, I think I told you long ago you can add paint to the clear wax too and get the same effect.🥰❤️
The sardine can has to be my favorite with the Burger King pieces a close second. The audio frequency was unsettling though I was laughing at your reaction, lol. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the cemetery.
Thank you so much. It's spooky 👻..lol I love the little sourdine can too, I thought it would be more fitting for country folk rather than a can of cat food.. even though he uses cat food in the movie😍❤️
@@tinykeyholeminis I like the idea better too. I did see the movie when it was released, so in the movie theater. I was only 18 and it scared me lots lol I have not seen it since because of that lol. But I do love watching what you are doing and know the story. Cannot wait to see you put together the cemetery.
I'm glad that for you, it's only a creepy noise. When we moved, I never expected that a vicious poltergeist came with the house. The thing was leaving the back door open as we slept. It was messing around with our medications and vitamins, by mixing them up, and putting them in the wrong bottles. Then it started attacking me at night. I came gasping awake 5 times in the night, as it would attack my legs. I really had to work to get rid of the thing. It fought like hell to stay.
Wow that is definitely a crazy story. I believe these are real scenarios. I'm sorry you had to go through that. Those types of movies are too scary for me..and freak me out..because I believe it's real.
LOL..I only like McDonald's breakfast sandwiches, those are still so good. I miss the oatmeal with apple bits. That was delicious. I dont get xhanging a good thing even if it's for cost. I prefer quality 🥰
Oh wow!😮🥰💕These are amazing!! They look so realistic! Wish I'd seen this video earlier. I love all the metal parts! The plastic tubing is better than my plastic straw! I have to try that next time. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial💕
Thank you so much 🤗 I just love using all these tiny metal parts to put hardware together. Doesn't it just spark up all your imagination and creativity?!?! I'm going to give my ball stylist a try to shape it next time, I have several sizes. That's is a brilliant idea. I have shaped a spout before on a little oil and vinegar bottle as well. I love how you can just manipulate the tube to shape. I want to give the straw a try. I like the diameter of that it's a bit bigger than the hose. But you get so much more of the hose to work with. I feel like the straw may be a bit more durable. You have to be quick with the hose, or it will melt and break.Try it and see which you like better. It looked like the straw took shape quicker and a bit better than the hose. Your faucet stand for the tubs are everything. I want to look for some of that cerne relief outliner, I need that in my life. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your amazing miniature visions!❤️🥰
@@tinykeyholeminis Thank you for all your great advice! you are a true miniaturist🤩I love that cerne relief outliner as I can creature a lot of small detail with it. They have different colors available. The gold one is my favourite😊
Omg those rocks! It's all looking amazing. I love those poky little shrub things! Their mix of brown and green is perfect. Is there a way to crush or wilt the straw a bit? I feel like when I see that stuff it's a bit worse for wear. (I know you're already finished 🤣). I keep seeing a kid's hoodie laying around somewhere. 🤔. No matter- it's perfection as is! 😘🥰✨
It's funny you said this. Wait till you see the next one. 🤗 I will also be adding some climbing greenery to some of the entrance. For now it is finished but once that stuff gets here I'm going to add it in. 🥰❤️
