I think it would sound even better if the collecter ring pipe was a little smaller in pipe size, not ring diameter. I might be wrong but I have over 60 years of being an exhaust noise nut with a lot of experimental experience.

I don’t know why so many don’t like the Tomahawk. I did my training in a brand new Tomahawk. I still love that plane! No annoying clearing turns. On an early training landing I misjudged the ground effect/flair. Hit hard, bounced up higher than the hangers and added power and went around. Instructor inspected the gear immediately upon landing. No damage. The plane is still registered and flying N91332. Will never forget that tail number.
