Still impressive to see a steam powered machine in action. Definitely powerful just like a steam locomotive could pull multiple cars with one engine 👍👍love it ❤
We're scott hall engines used in buses because of their power and speed? Also weren't they aircraft motors originally- whoa from a plane to an 11 ton bus amazing sxit! This was a short but great vid! This is the first time I've seen a Steam Powered Dragline in action. It's a Beautiful restoration. Well Done to all those involved in the restoration work.

Hi, I know it's a few years since you posted this. Was wandering if you still have this machine and if you could share some spec's on the Hydro motors and pump. Size, GPM ect.
@@Uriah625 Thank You so very very much for this information. Have been trying to get this for weeks, but know one seems to know anything about it. Can't get past Voice mail at Struck for some reason. I have two Struck machines, a MT3000 and an older Mini, not sure of the model right off. But want to rebuild it this winter or sooner as a hydro and do away with the belt system. So this info is greatly appreciated. Surprised the motors are that big. My thinking on the pump was about right. Thought the motors would have been smaller on the 750. Thanks again.
@@guypatts494 I hate to answer, “compared to what?” For it’s size it does a fine job. I’ve ripped out good size tree stumps and rocks bigger than five gallon buckets in a reasonable amount of time.
