Rather than look around for nearby online pressure data can you just enter what's displaying on Station pressure ('Pressure' on the Kestrel), to calibrate the Altitude screen?
I'll be using the AWN from the local airport. I'm trying to find out if it can configured be to show sunrise/ sunset times on the main screen? Does anyone have the manual?
Hello, I purchased the Kestrel Drop D3FW device from you. Your current application is not working well and has not received updates. It appears that support for this product and application has stopped.. i rate the Kestrel Link 3/10 90% dosnt connect all the time its says "update required" but when i try to update nothing happend.. your customer support not answer at all..
The difference is the $200 weather stations are cheaply made, don't last as long in harsh conditions, less reliable, and aren't as accurate as the more expensive weather stations. If you're a weather nerd/track weather data as a hobby then the more expensive stations are the way to go. If you just want to know the temperature, rainfall, and wind speed then a cheaper station is the way to go.
I love the Kestrel pocket station, those are really the best in accuracy, but then I checked KestrelMet 6000 Cellular Weather Station and that is a very very very expensive station, I know that should be the best in the market but way expensive to afford one soon.
Have you done a video on difference between the barometric pressure and pressure on 5500? It has two readings. Pressure which I assume is absolute can't be calibrated. Baro can. Baro at sea level is the same as absolute I believe?
Hi, I can't set up the time, I think becource the clock screen not blinking. I see also in the video that the clock screen is not blinking. Thanks andre from holland.
You need to press left and right arrow at the same time to get the clock to start "blinking". Then use left and right to adjust time. Finally press left and right together to "set" the time.
