He didn't comment on whether it was sarcasm or not, he just dismissed a stupid joke. You need to get your head on straight, stop being one of those sensitive losers who has to use Destiny as a frame of reference for everything. It's sad.
This guy is a Macklamore hater cuz hes white? He's not "piggybacking". Hes always been an activist. If I didnt know better this guy is a shit lib mamby pamby who focuses on identity and alll sorts of culture war BS issues. Obviously if a black rapper did this exact same song hed say its a hit. People think Macklamore is corny or is a culture thief. This is the problem with America today...too many weak minded libs.
that's pretty much celebrity activism, they see a bunch of losers on the internet willing to go to war over every cause out there its a free career boost. Macklemore has always been a grifter so this isn't any different. One day you suck then you rap about BLM and suddenly you're in the good graces of some keyboard warrior on X.
Macklemore has consistently been on the correct side of history when it comes to making political statements and protests. It looks like you are just hoping on the bandwagon of talking hip hop without even knowing much about it or the artists.
You are clearly not well versed in Macklemores music and history. He’s been speaking on social and political issues since 2005, well before he blew up. “Historic moment in hip hop”. Lol. As a massive hip hop head, it’s pure garbage and meaningless trash. Calling Macklemore pop while calling Drake historic is fucking hilarious. Drake is pure pop. “I don’t like him as a person”. Trash comment.
i think youtube might have auto deleted my comment cuz i posted links but just incase, the proceeds of the song go to UNRWA so yeah, and he has been talking about it since last year so also ...uhm . There are so many songs about palestine but maybe this is the first one you are hearing or care about because it actually cut through on a wider level . he sampled a famous lebanese singer as well. he did a good thing. And its very simple to understand why he said white supremacy. Media narratives, framing , usa and western involvement. Its starting to become a thing where any protest, any song and method of people discussing this cause is cringe for you. Its a constant critique of it all , everything is not good enough , everything is pointless , all the time in the critique.
So what did q do. He didn't write the questions. he didn't get the talent. he didn't even make the posters. He was crap on the show. I thought he added some value on the back end but no he had everyone doing everything for him and was calling Destiny complaining about his PayPal account not clearing fast enough. Dude sounds like way more trouble than's worth
Destinies point about the cinematography was it’s odd that a proclaimed “genocidal prison without power” has a bunch of dudes running around with 4k cameras doing supreme edits and being perfectly placed to do so. It’s a rebuttal of their own narrative from themselves and is beyond satire so yeah if laugh too
Brianna Wu has a PAC that funds various orgs that support ProaTrans stuff, PV got some funds from them but PV was started in 2019 and was kinda Vaush realizing that his reputation would kneecap any political action he got his audience to do to, so he needed a separate org to direct his audience to full of people to utilize that audience for phone banking/canvasing. This paying streamers stuff is newer thing and is about optimizing RU-vid content. If you think it’s waste of money you don’t have to donate to PV or canvas with them but a lot of the freaking out is ridiculous especially if you know anything about how much right wing money is influencing on RU-vid.
People being killed for drawing a cartoon Muhammad: "Islam don't play, what did you expect from messing with us?" A kid getting shot slinging rocks at IDF: "WTF, that's murder."
Lmao what was your second point supposed to prove? That the IDF killing children is ok? Such a pointless juxtaposition since literally both scenarios are bad.
@@registereduser6542 regardless of age, getting murdered for measly slinging rocks at guys with heavily armoured military equipment is justified? I’m also tired of this “17 year old with a gun argument”. The data still shows that thousands of pre-pubescent children are dead because of the indiscriminate targeting by the IDF. And no, I’m not pro palestine nor pro israel. Yes, Hamas is bad. Oct 7 was bad. Hamas bad.
I think it's wrong to justify Q's position as no more than an expression of his feelings. The moment he labels destiny as a bigot it ceases to be a personal decision alone. It's a very serious accusation and a horrible thing to casually get wrong. Destiny has never shown himself to be bigoted. What he believes is that Islam is CURRENTLY and more than any other religion a big fucking problem for the world Which it is. undeniably so. Christianity had its time and now it's Islamic rule murdering and oppressing by the millions. That's exactly what his position haa always been. It's not a radical notion to ears not shoved up their own ass. Not one of you three bothered to get at the truth of it. It's so easy to assume the motives of others when stupidityeads you to believe the world is simple. I don't mean to call you stupid though. I think you do a pretty good job all said. On this most important of points I disagree though.
Like I said in the video, I don't think Destiny hates Muslims, and I think it's wrong for Q to make that conclusion. With that being said, I also think it's silly to think there isn't justification for Q to feel like he is. Just like I told Q today that if people come to the conclusion he is antisemitic then that's his fault for making antisemitic jokes. But yeah, generally, I agree. That's why I made a point to clarify that multiple times in the stream. The difference being that I don't think that stops it from being his honest interpretation based on the videos he was referencing.
i like this guy. shutting down the mind rot in the chat justifying breaking the rules of war, cause its war. its clear they've been influenced into holding such a ridiculous position that contravenes geneva.
Crazy how someone like Destiny, knows nothing about Israel Palestine. He dose some research for a few months and realizes the Palestinians are full of 💩. Too bad kids today can't read and learn
Hey man, I am new to this channel (1st video) so I have no idea how much backstory you have on Q or Destiny. I am going to give my perspective as someone who instantly took to Q and started supporting his stream asap. I loved the dude to death (short lived) at first, and if Q was born in the USA and had a slightly different perspective on things, I may be his largest fan and supporter still.. I think he is super funny and entertaining, and I wish him the best, and hopes he recovers from the brain rot he suffers from. Strong statement why brain rot? Well Q pushed Destiny early and often about his views on Islam. People close to him and his (tiny but vocal) audience hated Destiny and DGG, anyone who spent any amount of time in his comments is VERY aware of this. Q often has anti american and jewish streamers on his platform as well as tons of unsavory people (that WOULD NEVER FLY in ANY RELIGIOUS VIEW including Islam, feel free to push me I am extremely well versed as a ton of my family friends and staff are Muslim, and I have been steeped in it. or just take my word for now) so for Q to have this (at best) massive blind spot, and do a 180' turn VERY suddenly, contradicts his statements massively. You would not have to try very hard to find out everyone's accurate positions. Destiny has been one of the best advocates for Palestinians out of any steamer I've heard. But people get lost in the sauce, they think status quo is gonna start working after countless years of brutality on both sides of the coin. Destiny uses a lot of hyperbole, but clearly is in favor of a two state solution, and is trying to hold their feet to the fire in some odd streamer brain content way that I don't 100% agree with because the message seems to get lost to the extremist that are overly sensitive on the matter. The point the other guy was making is Destiny is not hateful, he clearly has a message that is being lost and your explanation doesn't make sense. He was digging a bit but I am glad he did. I am going to watch more of his content because I think it needed. I don't always agree with any streamer or their tactics but I think you, and a lot of the other people covering this have lost the plot. Perhaps its because you didn't dive deep enough. But no hate, please don't take this as too sharp. I hope Q and Destiny make up, and more important I hope Q puts aside his hate for America and Jews in general I mean that, I think Q has gobs of talent but he will never pop off till he ditches his actual bigotry... إذا شاء الله
I appreciate your POV and your input, but I really do disagree with the weird reframing of the issues Q was talking about and his perspective on why he doesn't want to work with Destiny. Whether or not Q also has contradictory beliefs or his own prejudices would be besides the point. Q is saying that he is uncomfortable taking money from someone he sees as offensive. He doesn't have to be ethically consistent to say this. It's where he is at on the whole thing. The idea that JSTLK insists that we shouldn't take Q at face value and that there must be some deeper alterior motive behind it is ridiculous. That's what my big issue is. Q saying that Destiny hates Muslims is not something I agree with, as stated several times, but Q viewing Destiny in this way is something I can understand. You can disagree with Q's reading, you can say he is morally inconsistent, etc. But none of that matters in the slightest when determining what his personal issues are and his motivations for leaving KoK. But fr though, I do appreciate your input. Thanks for reaching out.
@@kidnotkin Sure that's fine, I may be wrong. But you have to break this down logically.. Destiny has made his views on this topic glaringly obvious for MANY years. There is nothing new about his position, he has slightly softened towards one side, and slightly harden towards the other. Not much changed. But Q is totally okay with it to ask Destiny for a show. Q is also okay with have people who make super racist humor (at the very least) if not worse advocating some pretty spicy stuff towards certain groups... this shows a very obvious contradiction, the charge towards Destiny is he is bigoted and Q tolerated it, his words not mine. So now you're tasked with having to reconcile this glaring contradiction no? Feel free to just accept what he said at face value, but then why is he okay with Anti American propaganda, Anti semantic rhetoric, etc? This is not rare stuff, he talked about it very often very loudly on his stream. When you asked why the other guy (sorry again, I don't know these people) why he was pressing him on it.. Wouldn't this reasoning change your outlook? I would have asked him the same things, matter of fact I don't think the dude went far enough. To wrap it up, I am also not claiming to know what/why Q did do a 180, I was in shock to hear it. I just question if Q even realizes how hypocritical his views are. Hopefully I don't sound overly harsh. Cheers. Good luck.
Don't worry, I don't think you're being rude or anything, and I totally understand. If there is an equivalent situation to his example from how Destiny, in his view (i saw the reaction being referenced, but not the whole video in question), belittled a video of a suffering Palestinian who lost a loved one and claimed they must be "farming tiktok clips", then I think calling him a hypocrite would be reasonable. But that's what he is reflecting on here. He saw something from destiny that made him honestly very uncomfortable and he views him in a different way now. If you watch that clip, it should be totally understandable why he might feel uncomfortable, right? And I've known Q for a bit. Not friends with him but I've watched a bit of his content. Personally. I've seen some mild antisemitism in the form of jokes, and definitely some homophonic comments too. But not so bad that I couldn't take him seriously if he said he was bothered by Destiny's comments on that video in question. Does that make sense?
@@kidnotkin Makes sense. Let me chew on this for a bit, and in the mean time I am going to dig into your content more, as much as we may have slight disagreements here, you should take comfort in knowing we are in total agreement as far as the Katie person is concerned lol ;) At least now I understand more ur position on it, not sure why it didn't set in via the video, but I dont want to make a further response to it, till I've had time to try and shed my bias. Cheers
We also have to note that Q was def getting some type out real world pressure on that association as Destiny has done this massive explosion into the mainstream
Progressive victory can't get a new audience because people A. Got to ego trip and B. Hate Destiny and DDG before they got on board. It's the issue the left wing might never solve since they eat each other alive just as much as the right. The people who would get on board would be the people connected to the same audience because they are the only ones left.. I think too often Destiny gets blamed for what his audience does in the DGG community, but This is just a rehash of what happens when you fly too close to the sun.
Jsltk is the biggest tryhard debate bro online. He has absolutely no principles or interest in truth but is instead entirely fuelled by clout dynamics, streamer grievance narratives, and drama for drama sake. He desperately looks for any perceived weakness, often focuses on substantively weak aspects of an argument (like perceived hypocrisy or minor inconsistencies) and fails to engage with the broader substance. It should be embarrassing but he's a clout goblin with no sense of shame
