I have same set up with pv 4 tunner 112 HP and 122 ftpt and second and third will roast the tire easy but I don't like the low speed serge it does best at speeds 35 and up
You should always get a tune after making a big change like that. Because the new 2 into 2 system gets rid of the cat a tune is needed to help with that change. Could you run it with out a tune yes and I have known people that did. For what you paid for your bike and cost for repair I would throw a tune on it. You can buy your tuner from fuel moto and they will provide you an map for the bike free of charge with purchase. That's what I did when I do my cam install I will get a dyno tune to really dial it in.
i just installed the ripper baffles did not like it sounds loud ear piercing but muffled chocked down felt like i lost power on low and the sound is like tinny not deep I'm running KW aggressor headers with slip ons and Dynojet PV-2B screaming eagle air filter im going to get the HP Louvered Baffles 1860-1818 i have a 19 RGS 114
BadBoyzCyclez Venom seat. Best customer service awesome seat. Call them up and talk to them the owner answers the phone and will ask you questions and recommends and makes the seat based upon your needs.
Great video. My buddy owns your Fat Boy now. He lives in Johns creek. The freedom exhaust turn out end fell off the other day and took a chunk out of the rear tire. I think he is going to go with the S&S exhaust. I told hime to contact you because you may have some parts . LOL be safe out there. He loves the bike.
No Way! Yes tell him to reach out! I do still have the sissy bar I could sell him and can also answer any questions he may have about the bike. Sorry to hear about what happened to the exhaust. Rican219@yahoo.com
@Rican219Bagger will do. Yea not sure what happened. He was riding around Roswell and got home and noticed that something looked off. Then he noticed that the end of the pipe was missing and the rear tire had a 6" long strip of the tread edge just sticking out. Lol. I asked him how he did not hear that come off. He wears ear plugs and full-face helmet because the bike is so loud. Lol.
Awesome! Thanks for the fast response, I just got a m122 yesterday and a built 5.4L with a very similar setup. Looks like I'll need a jc customs adapter plate, inlet elbow and intake tube. Anything else needed to make this work on a 01 lightning intake? Also what fuel pumps and injectors are you running?
@@96bird61 upgrade the MAF, Walboro 255, yes you must have the adaptor plate from JC, I believe I had the Ford Performance 60 or 80 lb injectors don’t recall I bought them used and had them flow matched.
@@RicanBagger219 Ok, I have a ba 2600 MAF, dual 255lph fuel pumps already didn't know if I should go more just in case. Also did you have to grind any off the firewall to make it fit? Thanks for the info
@@96bird61 perfect you should be good unless your going for bigger numbers. Yes you will need to cut and weld the firewall to have enough space. Or some guys bang the shot of of it with a hammer we cut and rewelded mine.
Got my 2023 softtail stardard in 2023 april.. had the dealer put on drag bars. loving her... used a lifetime of savings and the softtail fit my piggy bank. I hate financing. Cash only! also it is a back ordered item but you should get and aluminum intake manifold as soon as possible. a plastic intake on an air cooled motor may be a future problem. both S&S and Screaming Eagle are hard to get...I was lucky to get one and 20 June my dealer will install and dyno.. dealer is a must to keep the warranty valid. if you get more back firing in between down shifts it is a sigh of possible warping or cracking. not going to wait for that. Wish it was a recall, but like a high-maintenance lady we take care of her. thanks for sharing. Stay in the wind.
Good looking out. I heard about the intake mani so I just started looking out for one. Crazy how they cut cost like that plastic and heat don’t mix over time smh.
BEAUTIFUL BIKE 🎉 I just came across your channel in my feed actually and I'm happy to support your efforts and those of other fellow moto content creators. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you in the future, keep up the great work and ride safe out there.
Damn. I got me a Fat Boy and your vids early on were something I came across researching what bike I wanted, Now you dont have the bike anymore. Sadness... I could never get rid of my Fat Boy now, it's such a fun bike. I'll still appreciate your help from those years ago. :P How much are you asking for the Sissybar?
Yeah I thought I could never get rid of it either and she was paid off. Sigh bitter sweet but new things always come. I will probably let the sissy bar go for $250 which is way cheaper then what I paid.
I have the same bike with the same exhaust. However, my tuning experts told me NOT to do the cam. They said I will loose all torque and I will be very unhappy. Why? It has to do with the M8 design and it's need for back pressure exhaust which this pipe doesn't have.
I’m not a tuning genius and yes between this and my Bassani Road Rage I lost very little but nothing drastic. The sound and looks was worth it to me. Bassani = 114 HP 122 torq Freedom = 113 HP 121 torq Have dyno sheets
@@RicanBagger219 Interesting, but was the Bassani also a 2 into 1 shorty? I was told that it was the short side dump type exhaust that is the issue. Other 2 into 1 pipes may be ok with cams.
@@tyroneshoelace4872 Bassani Road Rage is full length. You will loose some yes but it does not fall on its face like you are being told. I got the look and sound I wanted from the Freedom pipe so unless you are consistently racing for money or bracket racing the loss is minimal for a bad ass pipe. My 2 cents 👍 🤘
