I showcase my travels around by foot, car, train and ferry. Plus everything in between and everywhere. Filmed on GoPro 10 or 11. Email: TheUnknownWaypoint@gmail.com
I don’t need a better anything. So first off keep your shitty fucking opinion to yourself. You have no idea what equipment or setup is used. So think before commenting and Go Fuck yourself. Care to continue?
I moved from Dallas to one of these 2 traffic light towns (Raymond) and it was a hard adjustment but I could never go back to that rat race. I've grown used to everybody knowing each others names (and their business, sadly) today we had a party for the June birthdays in my family, and people from all over the town came over to celebrate, there was over 75 people here at my compound it was just one big celebration. I have just gotten released from the hospital and I had people I haven't had the opportunity to in years come up and ask about my surgery and how I was doing, like I said everybody knows everybody's business. Sorry so long but it's just that with my health, living in one of these one horse town is the only reason I am still alive today
Don’t apologize, I’m glad you are still alive and kicking. It’s one drawback that everyone knows everyone’s business but could also be life saving. Raymond is definitely quaint and small but worth it for the laid back easy going style.
Washington State is a popular state but not everyone wants the small town life. The only small towns prospering are the highly touted tourist towns like Aspen and Vail and Park City.
Slowly some small towns are being revitalized while others are dying unfortunately. Remote work is bringing a resurgence to small towns along with over inflated housing in bigger cities.
This is a great video. I am actually on Anderson Island now on vacation. Love the Ferry ride and the island. Nice and peaceful here. I’m staying at the Beachcomber
Yes the WHOLE 1% ruling class is desperatly trying to PRIVATIZE the ferry system AS WELL. This is what happens when it is legal to bribe every politician and buy any election or stupidly think that the Republicans are conservative or that the Democrats are liberal or Centrist or moderate when the reality is the foreign control us Empire is the most corrupt government on Earth.🙄
US 177 south of Tecumseh probably will never be fourlaned to Sulphur or to SH 199 which was originally US 70 before they moved US 70 south of Ardmore to east as they are trying to fourlane US 70 to bypass Madill to new US 70 bypass to Durant. Now east SH 1 fourlane to Indian Nation Turnpike might be nice one day then SH 19 fourlane west to I 35 might be feasible but what about SH 3 SE fourlane to US 69 & 75 which end up future Interstate.
This is the kind of video I like. It is like watching home movies from the 70s and 80s. Many channels host talk through the entire video and don't let you enjoy the sights and sounds of the adventure. I enjoyed watching this as we are going to ride this train in the summer.
Absolutely not. You can enter the peace park being a Canadian or American. Americans risk arrest if they touch the Canadian street and Canadians risk arrest if they touch the streets in USA. It’s patrolled by Border patrol on both sides heavily. Both sides have friendly officers.
You don’t have to live in a certain area to see a decline. You don’t know how often a person is in an area, due to family, work, etc being in a certain area often.
@@TheUnknownWaypoint I merely stated that I miss what Arlington was before crime went crazy in this town. If you disagree, just do your homework and you'll see.
Highway 530 is a beautiful drive from the foothills of the Cascade Mountains to the shores of Puget Sound (along the Stillaguwamish River on Pioneer Highway). Thank you for making this video! Just a reminder of how beautiful it is during the Autumn season.
@@TheUnknownWaypoint For sure. There's a decent amount who want to have more around, though usually they want it in Smokey Point, and not directly in downtown Arlington. I know some folx on the city counsel, and many in the community. What I love most about Arlington is that it's a good mixture of ppl, thoughts, ideas, and ways of life. It's pretty open as far as smaller towns go. Though so far, the consensus I hear regularly, is that most folx want to keep downtown Arlington the size that it is. Keep it walkable and quaint so to speak. Which I can understand. It's kind of a balance. It's nice to have new and not be stuck in the past. It's nice to have convenience and novelty. Though it's also nice to keep some things as they are. And thankfully, Arlington is smackdab in the middle of so many places, it's one of the few places I've seen get away with keeping things pretty small.
Thanks. It was filmed in December of 2022. The bus left Tacoma about 30 mins late and due to snow and traffic on the pass it added another 30 mins. So we arrived to Spokane a hour late.
Thankyou for this beautiful walk through centralia, I was here 3 years ago. I'm from India, just wanted to feel what I felt then, your video was very detailed. Loved it
