Sad? Best Christmas present ever! It's also quite funny to note that the USSR never really went away. It was truly just weakened a substantial amount and rebranded as the Russian Federation. It's interesting to wonder why do all communist societies swap to a different form of governance and potentially economic policy only a relatively short period after whatever revolution or reform birthed them?
