Blacks drove the chevys and Cadillacs first and played oldies(Motown in them in the early 6Os shit tookie had a chevy.There was not a heavy presence of mexicans in LA in the 50s and 60s. There were a small amount. STEP DAD was a Watts Crip from their era. Hispanics took over the chevy scene in the 80s, listening to black music like Motown. Im sorry this is the truth. Look up the census. Hispanics saw blacks in the vehicle playing oldies. But u guy took it too a whole other lever. BIG UPS !!!!!
It really dont make no sense they could have been renovated cheaper than to build them back yrah it starts with the promise to tear down and build u better one years later alot still homeless and families divided thats how it gets rid of whole generations why they build condos or golf course and property values go way up but what do i lnow just my opinion
Housing Projects were designed to perpetuate poverty and crime to segregate AA. The government sanctioned segregation while giving whites access to homeownership. Redlining kept communities segregated. This is so misleading.
The information is incorrect. So-called Hispanics were not part of the Great Migration. Most immigrants came post 1965 after the Immigration Act. Tell the truth.
