BUYER BEWARE ! HIdeously difficult assembly process that took 4 hours - flange tie rod installation is done blind - we tied a string around the end to guide it through the hole after several attempts. Grease is needed for the cup, yet not included. The basket flange was full of rust on each side, needed to be treated with rust remover and painted with Rustoleum prior to assembly - a 2 day process. Screws/nuts/cotter pins were floating around inside the box. Video is deceptive & requires more verbal instruction - note the cuts in the film whenever a difficult assembly is begun. Tires were way below required psi and needed a LOT of air. Tie rods are difficult to install - video lacks details thus conveys false assembly. For the price of this hose reel, the rusted material received is woefully lacking for a device that will be used with water! Go figure! The entire video IMHO speaks poorly for the AMES company!
The instructions are basic, but enough for me to get it put together while wrangling a 2 year old. The parts dontline up perfectly, but its aesthetic. My issue is how flimsy the thing is. I bought it to redo some landscaping rock and with ~30# (2 year old😂) it wobbles like crazy when you set it down. Spend the $30 more at Home Depot for the all steel Anvil model and dont make 2 trips like me. I took it apart and put it back in the box before returning to avoid embarassment. Should've known better. If you are hauling bubble wrap or pillows, it might work OK for you.
This was a very good video thank you. One comment is there were no flanges holding my bolts in an upright position when putting on the wedges and handles.

Thank you for showing me your style of connection, i wanna do this in DIY style using everything a homemade because i am not going to use that are "Made In China" because they are not durable & heavy duty, i want to create a reel hose that will last me every time i water my fruit tree garden
Where are the lockwashers needed to keep things from loosening up? Also, are those galvanized bolts and nuts? If they aren't the threads are going to corrode away over time, and you wont be able to take your barrow apart for maintenance and repairs, nut without cutting the bolts and then replacing the hardware. The second time, you will use galvanized bolts.
Well, after more than 90 minutes, it's finally put together. I don't know how I would have done this without this video. The written instructions and drawings were so limited and pretty darn awful. Thankfully, it's a very attractive wheelbarrow lol
I took apart my wheel barrow to put a new tire on and paint the parts that were rusting. I took some photos thinking that would be enough to help me put it back together. WRONG! Thank goodness for this video, otherwise I'd have a heap of parts!😃

Good Hose Reel but if you need a belt you are out of Luck. The belt is not a replacement part. I am referencing the metal cabinet model 2519100 Hose Reel Cabinet.
Wtf!!!! They didn't include the risers. This is total BS. Now I have to return this piece of shit!!!! Spend $40 in gas to get there and back. Im so pissed. They the manufacturer should be reimburse my time and gas because of their crap quality control. Never but this brand again!!!!
Thank you for your video , I bought a power fist wheelbarrow from Princess auto , there was a video of a guy building the exact one but he had the video run so fast and took it apart so many times it was confusing . I watched yours and easily assembled mine . Ty
I have a Truper wheelbarrow I bought the steel handles most pre drill holes didn’t match. So I had to return them and buy the wood handles and drill the holes myself
I have the newer version and the handles are black in color versus the wood finish. They seem lightweight. I have used the Wheel Barrow yet but I am concerned they wont last.
As others commented, the product dimensions don't fit. Holes are too close to each other to attach the braces for the wheels, the base plate is at a too strong of an angle not to destroy the handles very fast. I can't finish assembling it, it is going back to the store tomorrow morning.
They didn't include that part for this overpriced piece of crap. Now I have to return as a extra expense. Gas is crazy $40 round trip. Thanks to corrupt Joe biden. Piece of crap.
