I love music. Its been a huge part of my life and will always continue to be. During my adolescence, I always found myself drifting towards this form of artistry and self-expression. From the days of Walkman's and walking to the bus stop with an album or burned CD. To bumping OutKast, Tupac, Jay-Z, Big L, Eminem, Bone Thugz & Harmony, Notorious B.I.G, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, etc, I knew this form of self-expression would stick with me for life. It also didn't hurt that my Father and I would enjoy vinyls together while I grew up.
I've been lucky to grow up off an era of poetic expression and pride in one's skillsets, supporters, community as well as leaving a long-lasting legacy. After my first concert, I knew I had to document my experiences.
This is my archive of artists that I've been lucky to of witnessed live over the years from various states. I appreciate all the support, feedback and general love for music and artistry. I hope you enjoy the ride.
I was front row for this show;; he met my eyes for a good second during Yonkers when he got closest to my side of stage; life changing show I realized years later he may have been looking at me cuz I was a curly headed white boy 😂
@@brownsonarebojie7802 I think it’s Tyler’s favorite show he has ever done. He talks about it twice in CMIYGL. I was able to get to the barrier because some kid vomited before the show even started and it created a gigantic puddle and I was able to skirt around the edge of the people at the perimeter of it lmao. I had two tickets the dude I was supposed to go with got pneumonia and I spent the entire day looking for someone else to go so the dude with me had just left his class at John Jay and had his backpack with book and everything with him 😭 but I kept forcing him to go up further with me or else he would regret it. He also wanted to leave early to make the train and I refused to allow it. That was the last truly great day I had pre covid. Salutes to you too friend
no, unfortunately, on the way home from the fest, I got into a car accident and became physically incapable the past 4 years. so, for the mean time, I have to take a break from festivals.@@brownsonarebojie7802
Everyone went crazy when he opened the show with this. It was 4/20 so everyone was lit but this was one of the most hype entrances I ever saw in my life before. I was 18 a college freshman and never saw this kinda energy at a show before. Isaiah Rashad killed it opening for him with Cilvia Demo too. The crowd knew their shit, respect to Minneapolis
Yo, much respect to you on sharing your experience. Especially in terms of being an 18 year old freshman and being able to witness this classic tour. I completely agree on this being one of the most hype entrances to a show. TDE to this day still remains as my favorite crew and label and I loved how they’d support each other by touring together. I remember being so hyped for this show after Oxymoron and Cilvia Demo dropped. Those two albums legitimately didn’t leave my car CD player for years. Classics. Much respect to you, fam. I hope life is treating you right. Salute
Absolutely agreed. Such a classic Smino track. One of the standout tracks that had me like 👀 when I first heard it. I’m glad you enjoyed the upload and are a fan. Appreciate the luv. Peace and blissings to you.
Str8 facts, fam. Ish hit different with the live band. Smino is incredible live. Did you cop tickets to his tour with JID? I highly recommend if you haven’t seen Smino live. Salute.
I love him for this one song I probably will never listen to any other music he makes unless it makes sense to the existence of the brain extension of our humanity as human beings
Absolutely agreed, my friend. Such a beautiful experience that night. That’s awesome you were at the show as well. I’m assuming you live in Minnesota? You’re welcome. Thank you for the comment and support! Much love.
Absolutely agreed. This song is incredible imo. That’s what’s up, fellow Minnesotan! Are you by chance going to the JID & Smino show in March of next year? Awesome. I’m glad you enjoyed the upload. You’re very welcome! Thank you for the luv. Much respect.
I knew he didn’t do that shit in one take I always had to take at least one breath when rapping that shit. Regardless impressive as fuck, sometimes my lips and tongue just can’t move that fast. I have my moments ig
This was in Mountain View, which I bellies was only thirty minutes outside of San Bernardo. I’m pretty sure SF had its own separate location too. Were you able to attend any of these festivals?
@@hiphop4x4 Word. That’s what’s up fam. I’m glad we both got to experience this festival. It’s crazy how the Mountain View show was the very last one. Rock the Bells was by far the best music festival I’ve ever been to and I live in Minnesota and have hit up Soundset at least 6 or more times. Salute bro. Take care out here.
