I was born near the ocean but grew up in the inland country with brown rivers so ive always associated this song with my longing to be back in the beautiful blue oceans ❤
I used to study in australia in 2008. I had gone for an interview for a small part time job in a departmental store. This song was playing in the store while i was waiting for my turn. Listening to this song takes me there again.
I remember when this was "new" Getaway Plan and people were iffy about it. It's fifteen years old now. I remember when Matt was so little he wasn't allowed to have a drink wristband at the venue we saw them at. I'm old now. I still love you guys.
Sht man. This one is criminally underrated, such banger. Used to listen this song 15 yrs. ago, and now I'm 30 yrs. old. Whew. Cheers from the Philippines.
I saw these guys at Pyramid Rock Festival. I was so excited to see them, even though this was the only song I knew. From memory, 360, Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernauts and Pez played that year too.
Lads raps had its day shows over we’ve grown up and moved on. It’s repetitive and pretty much boring and in the states gangster rap is seen as an embarrassment and juvenile.
miss those uni days of 2008 in melbourne when aussie bands like the getaway plan, the potbellez, faker, silverchair, the presets would help me forget my worries and penniless pocket.
This song has randomly popped in my head for YEARS, I could only recall "We'll fall from grace" faintly, now that I heard it it all came back to me, it was in my head so randomly sometimes and I just couldn't place it to the point I believed that maybe I just mixed up a song in my head. I was watching a video of bondi beach and heard this instrumental in the background and I just couldn't let it go, it was SO familiar, it had no lyrics, thankfully Shazam found it for me. What a throwback.
saw them live once opening for simple plan in sydney when I had no idea who they were, they hard stole the show and his vocals live are genuinely freaken amazing
