I recently picked up a Biker cafe racer from Ralph Lauren Black label very beautiful made in italy. I will be picking up a Saint Laurent and a Celine as well.
hi. how do you look after your leather jackets? do you reconditioned them yearly? if so, what sort of products you use. am thinking of getting one. thanks
What kind of care would you recommend for the YSL jacket. I got an exact replica (same materials and design) for $715. So it should need the same care. Do you ever need to wash it or condition it in any way?
Great video! I love LV and the eclipse pattern is one of my favs! Crazy to see how well it has worn over time!! I just bought a keepall in eclipse if you would like to see it? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7CcZlpeRLbE.html
The canvas is made out of PVC or a type of plastic if you are not aware. You come across like the canvas is leather but it’s not, it’s a common mistake. I have a keepall as well, if you travelled for a week with this bag your shoulders must have hurt a lot cause it gets darn heavy too 😆
Great video I just bought one for 250 US dollars with tax 264. Acceptable price I know their Prices increase every year. I hope the quality is still as good as the older pieces. But I’m not worried about their customer services. If there’s a problem I can always go get it replaced or fixed. But I really do love the LV monogram, very classic and never out of style.
Love this video, you explain it so well and I love how well you take care of the bags! I hope my keepall 55 will look as beautiful as yours at that age!
Law Jonckheere - thank you so much for watching and commenting! The most important thing is to enjoy your Keepall and take good care of it and in return, it will take care of itself. 😀
Hi Fletcher - thanks for watching and commenting. You can buy a strap separately at LV stores or online (although I haven't checked lately). Usually Keepals come with shoulder straps but if you need an extra one or a different one - I guess best to visit an LV store. Apologies, don't know how much a strap costs. All the best,
Both jackets are amazing and Celine is truly "Timeless'. I have a question - how do you protect your lambskin jackets? Which products are you using? I just bought SLP L01 and want to make sure sure it looks as good as your Celine in 20 years :)
Hi - thanks for watching and commenting. To be honest, I have not followed some strict regime of protecting them. The only thing I did was to have a very good hanger. A high quality product such as the Celine and the SL don't need any special treatment. What you pay is what you get. Quality that lasts! Hope this is helpful!
@@rockededge8244 Hope you wear it often, I think it looks way cooler than the Celine. I'm starting to get more into top tier labels myself, but for the sake of my budget, and picking things that will carry me through the long term I'm trying to be super-selective. I recently purchased a red Moncler down jacket (and I love it), but that's the most money I've ever dropped on a single article of clothing. One thing I think is cool about Chanel and SL is that they're both Italian labels and they're actually made in Italy (a strike against Moncler). But the precedent of Saint Laurent and Chanel has led me to an interest in Gucci. I was thinking about getting a pair of their trainers at some point and I wanted the feedback of someone knowledgeable. I don't know much about fashion but I do know what I like.
@@paulthomas8884 - Hi Paul, sorry for my delayed response. Hope all is well. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to watch and provide comments and feedback. I always welcome other points of view regardless being different to my own. Secondly, Chanel and Saint Laurent are French designer labels but the majority (95%) of their clothing, bags, shoes, etc are made in Italy. This is because of the vast variety of artisanal factories and handmade craftsmanship which ironically, is second to none - compared to the French. Think of it this way, French is style and design, but the Italians provide the craftsmanship. Regarding Gucci, (and this is my own humble opinion) I cannot advise you because unfortunately I do not like the direction of the brand under Alessandro Michele. I also have witnessed that the quality is not what it used to be years and years ago. If you compare a Chanel tweed jacket and a Gucci tweed jacket there are big differences in price, quality, craftsmanship and style. So, I am not a Gucci fan right now. However, having said that, what I do like from Gucci are the shoes (not all of them) - the classic ones. Lastly, I want to say that I do understand when someone has a limited budget so the best advice I can give you (having it followed myself) is to always go for style and not fashion. Trends come and go but classic, timeless items always remain timeless. So, I have no doubt you will build your timeless, stylish wardrobe as you discover your own likes and dislikes and personal style/identity. Don't rush and don't stress about it! It will happen! Hope this was helpful. Happy to answer any more questions, if you have any! Let me know how you get on! Rock it!
@@rockededge8244 That being said about the difference between fashion and style, do you think a brand like Moncler is more on the fashion side of things? I would definitely prefer having things that will withstand the test of time as opposed to it becoming "last year's".
@@paulthomas8884 - sorry for the delay! Right.... Moncler has actually been around for at least 2 and half decades.... as I remember I used to wear their puffy jackets when I was in university. However, back then was a brand very mainstream as it focused on ski apparel. Nowadays, they are very popular. It is a very good brand - it has legacy but unsure whether the mass production they are into now.... compromises the quality of the garments. If you are interested in Moncler, stick to their "classic" jackets as these are timeless and never go out of fashion.
Hi Sassouu Sasoo - thanks for watching and commenting. I don’t like my jackets zipped up. These type of jackets can be worn either way depending personal preference. Hope this helps you for what you need. Many thanks
Hi dear! Question, if you pack for a weekend for 2 people which size would you recommend for the Keepall? It would be used more for car trips not plane. Thanks
Hello Ester - Thank you for watching and for your question. Sorry I am a bit late by 2 weeks! I would take the size 55. More room just in case and you are packing for 2 people. It also depends where you going (weather conditions ) and what are you planning to take with you. If you go minimal, the 45 can do the trick but it may get heavy. Better the 55 I would say. Hope this helps! All the best
Hi Belinda - thanks for your comment. "We" here refers at the group of friends we are behind Rocked Edge. Thanks for watching our video and all the best
Austin Tan - hello there, you need to check with the particular airline and whether they will allow a 60 cm hand luggage as carry-on. Typically they will not as the 55 cm is the max they will allow. But do check. Thanks for watching the video!
ive seen alot of reviews and yours is truly what I like coz it really hits me on ur question on....is this what I want? I like what I see but its not practical to me. I got 2 similar small bags with that closure and I seldom use it coz I find it tiny...stylish but doesn't fit my stuffs....im so stress out that my stuffs need downsize just to use those bags. I'm going to a lv store soon and I'll check this out with other bigger options like poppincourt
