Catalyst Sports is a baseball facility based out of Golden, Colorado, and we bring you the best tips, tools, & instruction for improving your baseball skills,
On this channel we do a lot of product reviews to help you find the best gear to use out on the field. Also, we do a lot of instructional and drill videos to help you become the best possible ball player you can be. We also try to provide coaching tips to help out the coaching and parent community.
We coach both in person and remotely. We use technology and social platforms to add as much value as we can to the conversation around baseball, and baseball instruction. It is an unbelievable community that we feel very lucky to be a part of.
I see a guy that’s in the mlb World Series winner, starter, better than everyone on RU-vid making videos and he’s hitting straight bullets, perfect line shots through the holes
It seems as if he's turning his hips quicker, which could be to get on the ball sooner in an attempt to pull the baseball and maybe to keep his bat in the zone as long as possible in case it's not the pitch he expected. I say that because in the first one, he hits it to the opposite field, but in the second one, he pulls the ball. But hey,who knows, I could be way off.
I'll be 71 next December - still playing competitively on two teams, a 35+ group and a 50+ plus group. As you might imagine, it's not always possible to find someone to feed or hit me ground balls, and this protocol has been a mainstay in my training since you first posted it. I use a brick wall at the end of a parking lot, and after these glove and footwork drills I can go into a regular throwing and fielding routine. Add in a rebounder and I can work on double-play turns and throws as well. Thanks for extending (and improving!) my career!
Love the video, will definitely try it!! One question though, where can I get access to the free PDF, I followed the link to the website only to find there was nothing there?
Top one. Adjusts late and pops up. Bottom one was just. Fooled missed badly inable to adjust Middle straight thru arms extended Powered through the ball looks like a homer
Crawford’s barrel is already on plane early and ahead of the pitch while the other two are late trying to get on plane. What does he do to get into that position (before these clips) that the other two don’t?
