Peter Marino, FAIA, is the principal of Peter Marino Architect PLLC, an internationally acclaimed architecture, planning and design firm founded in 1978. Marino’s design contributions to commercial, cultural, residential and retail architecture have helped redefine modern luxury worldwide. A native New Yorker, Marino first studied painting and sculpture before graduating from Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning with a degree in architecture. Marino began his career at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, George Nelson, and I.M. Pei/Cossutta & Ponte. He started his own practice in 1978 and today produces a wide range of work from civic and cultural buildings, private residential, high end retail and commercial buildings, furniture design, product design and his sculptural bronze box artworks.
