So glad to hear your mom is doing well. You actually accomplished so much this month! Stitch what you feel like, when you feel like it. Also, if you did show some of what you've kitted, I would love to hear your thought process for how you convert fabrics and flosses for specific projects - its my favorite part of your videos. Hope you get to go on vacation soon!
I like how you emphasized prioritizing yourself first, doing what captivates you most and not just reaching unrealistic stitch deadlines and obsessing over producing volume.
Thank you! I used to model stitch, deadlines are too stressful and I already have enough of those in my everyday work life, as everyone does. Stitching should be something savored and enjoyed thoroughly! Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment❤️
So glad I found you on youtube. I love all you do - those splendor conversions are wonderful, you have me tempted to start collecting them. Your husband sounds like a hoot - Dragon June for sure. I hope your mother continues to recover well. Enjoy your well deserved vacation in a few weeks.
Glad I caught it and could help. No worries. We all say one thing when we’re thinking of another. By the way, your Mira’s and your fabric selections are superb!!! Really enjoy your videos, and love your wips and your FFO’s are to die for!!!!
Welcome to flosstube! I love so many of your projects! I'm also working on a piece from 2x2 stitch art. I'd never seen Sun Goddess before but she is breath taking! Happy stitching 💜
Thank you Gor sharing all your beaut finishes. I gave a framed to recommend, L&M Framing are located in Cincinnati and I have had several pieces framed by them. They are very easy to work with. I have been very happy with them.
Feldspar has turned into one of my favorites. When I saw it online, I wasn’t been impressed. My mom bought me 1/2 a yard when she was a a store one year, then when I was at Shepherd’s Bush, between the two of us, we took the last yard they had at the time of 32ct. It was so different from the other Feldspar she had bought. Yours is way different from any I’ve seen, much more gold. Thus the nature of hand dyed fabric…lol. I used my Sheperds Bush version for Mira’s LOTF white conversion she looks like she’s and Angel coming out of the sky with her flag.
@@sharebearstitcher she is. Of course, having Rensel frame her helped add those perfect finishing touches..lol. Like you, I’ve been using Jill since before she found Amber, although this one did have Amber’s magical touches
I'm behind on my stitch watch, but I wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I keep you'll in my prayers. I love a Stiching Shop! I'm in the Springs, and they are so helpful there. Take care and safe travels.
Loved all your projects! I'm going to do Snow Queen. I love your pick for the fabric! Do mind repeating who you got it from and the name of it? I've purchased linen 3 times for Snow Queen and never quite have the "perfect" one!
Hi, Sherry! I am just blown away by all your by projects and gorgeous framing! By the way, the “B” on the Lightly Salted fabric is from BeStitch Me. 🙂 I am so sorry for your loss. Your remarks about stitching being so wonderful for our spirits are so true…thank you. ♥️ Meline
Sherry, I am in awe! Your third video popped up in my feed today, but I wanted to start from the beginning, so I watched this one first…your color choices for fabrics and threads are just splendid! I enjoyed your “visit” so much, and am looking forward to catching up on the rest. Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Just beautiful! 🧜🏿♀️ Meline
Loved your video. I just came across your flosstube today and just adored all of your wips and FFO’s. What is the name of that dragon pattern you’re working on for your hubby? It is a stunner. If you can let me know what threads you’re using. Keep the videos coming. Your delivery and your choice of colors and fabrics are just wonderful. So many folks just speak so fast and whiz through their projects, you have to constantly rewind. You really take the time to share your treasures without rushing. Very refreshing. One thing that would really help is to show your pattern when you show your projects. Thank you for a lovely video and your lovely projects.
Thank you so much and I will make sure to slow down and show the charts. The Dragon came from an Etsy page called 2x2 stitch art. Unfortunately, no pics just charts. Let me know if you need anything else and thanks for watching!
Great video! Found you at number three so now backtracked to see all your videos. Your work is amazing. So looking forward to more! You have inspired me already and cost me money 😊
I second the motion on "team Nora." The only other designer that I would flex on in the exquisite, lovely ladies category would be Nora's late mother - designer Marilyn Leavitt-Imblum who left us a legacy of beautiful designs for Lavender and Lace. I have now caught up with all your episodes, and definitely looking forward to your future content. Thanks for sharing your FFOs and current WIPs with us. I just started my first Mirabilia ("Gypsy Queen") a few weeks ago, and your work inspires me to keep plugging away at "GQ" so I may one day proudly frame it and place it on my wall. I will keep your mother in my prayers.
Hi. Belated welcome to FlossTube. I stumbled on your most recent episode and decided to go back to the 1st one and learn about you. Looking forward to your future content.
So sorry to hear about your mom. I hope her recovery is speedy and without incident. Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful fabrics you selected for your Mira kits. Can't wait to see your next update at the end of Mira May! 💛
Wow, the colours of that dragon! I must admit, Mucha was not one of my fav from the Mira line, but now that I saw yours .... she turns out to be fabulous, congratulations!
That’s how it always is. Ironically, I thought the same thing when she was released, ehhh pretty but not my thing. Then I saw her stitched by my friend Juls and I HAD to kit and start her right away!
I'm back again from the future. Loved seeing your finished pieces. You're much more adventurous than I am with the Mira's with changing out all the flosses. Your sense of color is wonderful. Several of your finished pieces are some of my current wips - Gypsy Queen, Fairy Moon come to mind right off. I think I have about 10 of hers currently on the go? And I too love Teresa K. I'm in her tier 4 patreon and find it totally worth every penny. I'm stitching her Hometown sal, but I'm guessing it will be a start along for me. LOL. I'll be watching video 3 shortly, and then I'll be caught up with your videos. So glad Wendy pointed you out to me. Steph from NJ
Hi from the future. I'm watching for the first time from May 24. Wendy from Stitchy Wendy/Wendy's Whimsical Stitches mentioned you to me as she knows how much I enjoy Mira/Noras (among others). I'm glad she did. It's always fun to "meet" another Mira stitcher. I think you said you're on IG, so I'll also pop over there and follow. Now to video #2,
@@sharebearstitcher you're welcome. Your curly hair is awesome, too. My daughter's hair is just as curly while my poor boys have stick straight hair lol.
I'm just now finding you and can see that we have a lot in common. I subscribed right away because I can tell you are a stitcher after my own heart. Keep the videos coming.🥰
Just found your channel. I'm also in Colorado and joined flosstube about a month ago. Your South Seas Mermaid colors are incredible! Subscribing and going to stitch with your videos keeping me company this evening :)
Just found your FT this evening, new subscriber now! I really enjoyed your work. I love sparkle, too!! I've just never stitched with it yet. Your "Fruits" is simply stunning! Perfect frame, too! ❤ I look forward to watching your earlier videos. Welcome to FlossTube!!
Thank you! I watch and love your flosstube as well and I think I remember you saying you love sparkle too! It’s a hard habit to break, like swearing lol which I do often as well😘😊 thank you so much!
Just seeing your videos. Moved from CO to AZ in 2018. Most of the 25 years we lived there were in SE Aurora and the last 2 years were in Castle Rock. The winters were getting to me and we were retired so here we are. Love CO and its perfect summers. I was surprised to hear Danielle’s name. Used to go to her shop constantly. Went to Fancimats until it closed. But wondered what happened to Danielle. She’s a sweetie. Love The Stitching Shop and go there when we visit. Thought maybe she’d hook folks up with a framer. Love your videos and your beautiful stitching. I’ve been sending my stitching to Jill since the earlier 2000s. Found another framer here at The Attic for pieces that don’t need Jill’s special touch. There’s none like her. And it is like getting art on top of art when she paints your pieces. Now she’s painting frames too. But the wait time is incredibly long. They told me they’re 9 months out. So the piece that’s with her now I don’t need very quickly. But I’ve met Jill twice. At our Shepherd’s Bush Retreat eons ago, and another time. Toured her shop. Sweet and caring lady. Sorry so long. The CO vibe and Jill struck a nerve. That last huge piece you had framed in Loveland…well WOWSER! Outstanding! Love the Miras too. And Michaels doesn’t work for me either. Thx again for the videos cuz you’re a busy lady😊
You are so nice! If you came to Danielle’s shop, you may have run into me. I worked her shop on Sundays. Danielle is doing a fabulous job as SGA President. You should join!
