I looked up a low drift fence and I think I’m still a little confused about how they’d help with crossing I get they’d help keep them off the road but has any solutions been thought of for allowing them the access of crossing with safety? This is probably a long shot but I had an idea that could work with the low drift fences and that’s a little tube under the road allowing for smaller critters passage that with the fence guiding them to it might help but like I said that’s just an idea! Love that you helped that little guy though
@@tristan-ec6hz All good! But yep, our goal is to have the drift fences guide them to an underpass so they safely pass and avoid cars and other obstacles on the road.
Our Curly Hair Tarantulas are not available to be held or in close proximity to the public, so none of our guests are at risk of having a negative interaction with them. While they are capable of kicking hairs and biting, Curly Hair Tarantulas are unlikely to do so, and there are no recorded deaths caused by them.
How do i get into conservation work? I dont have a degree but im a life time outdoorsman/survivalist/naturalist im comfortable anywhere in nature. I also have a dive certification and emt certification. I frequently catch animals. I feel like id be of value for all kinds of conservation work

Excellent eyesight but yet they have trouble differentiating between the surface of water and the top of a car. This is one of the reasons for their population decline, at least where I'm at. Something about the way the light reflects off of the paint of most cars makes a female dragonfly think it's water. So she goes to deposit her eggs into what she thinks is water but she's really depositing them into the hot surface of the car, basically cooking them.
