why are yall dunking on DD's? double deckers are good for longer routes, while on routes with many stops you could make the argument for articulated buses, but still, DD's are the far better option in most scenarios.
There’s a big shortage of Bendy buses on our roads, with only 40 of them vs the thousands of double deckers on the roads, which are very inefficient on many routes with high loads
There is actually 2 familiar sounding trains at Brazil. The first one is the 3000 Series, It uses Siemens GTO motor, And its famous “violin-sound” is even better, Sadly, It's immobilized and will later be scrapped depending on the strategies. There is also another one called the 2000 series (The train on my profile picture), Which uses GTO and IGBT, inwhich in the GTO version, It uses high-to-low power. And in the IGBT, It uses low-to-high power, The starting of both version's motors are the same. Fun Fact: 2000 Series is not from Siemens, It was fabricated from CAF, ADTranz and Alstom between 1998 and 1999, Which debuted in 2000 on the known “Expresso Leste” (East Express). Its motor is an induction motor, And originally, Was used the IGBT motor, It has a total of 15 sets, 9 are operational in July 2024. The other 6 are being dismantled.
Hi, if I go from Larkin to Queenstreet, should I pay the total fare when I board the bus in Larkin? Or have to pay again when I have crossed the border?
