Hey I'm Lauren! Welcome to my channel! I'm a mom of a 2 year old Lucia, and a step parent to a 17 year old named Jules. My channel is a little bit of everything while navigating life after loss of my first daughter Scarlett who passed away from Leukemia in 2020. I love to share tips, tricks and hacks for taking your toddlers to Disney and other adventures along the way.
I work full time in the fashion industry in NY and like traveling. Hoping to get better at this you tube thing. Would love for you to stay and subscribe.
@@BoardroomtoBounceHouse my target hasn't had the gift cards in store for the last year 😩 luckily I have a few "hard copies" so I have been ordering the new ones online with the 5% discount and then combining on disneygiftcard website 💖
Thanks for the tour - we’re staying there in January. Your daughter’s exuberance was delightful!! 😊 It’s our first trip to Disney, so we definitely relate to her excitement.
@@r15y22ka yes usually at a lot of the resorts I never see kids on the equipment since it's so hot but there were a lot of kids playing since it was a little cooler at night. It's right next to the movie under the stars! 💖
@@itsPriscillaMarie we have some more footage from our checkout day checking out bomba breakfast and seeing the animals over at ak Lodge!! Stay tuned 💖
@@laurenjoya my guess is that room can be considered a mild upgrade from resort view or a low end pool view room. They love to play on words when it comes to the views lol.. 😂
@@itsPriscillaMarie it really is!! And it's honestly so similar to wilderness Lodge but I love the creativity and the fact that the animals are right there at the hotel! This was never on my bucket list but I'm glad we stayed one night!
I'm about 9 months away from 40, but I swear my skin is not like most people. I still have adult acne I treat. I love Mac Studio Fix stayput mattifying primer. I also use Bare Minerals original and their mineral veil. I swear that is Disney proof plus becomes my sunscreen. I appreciate your working mom perspective. I work more than full time plus have 2 girls. I need to start making my list for our first trip with my little one who will be 14 months when we go. It's so hard to find the time! We took our oldest to Disney to turn 3. It was one of the most special trips! I hope you have a great time. My husband doesn't love Disney, but he tolerates it for me.
@@itsPriscillaMarie she didn't really do the I spy one but she was obsessed with the magnet one! She played it multiple times on both plane rides so this is definitely coming with us to Florida in a couple of weeks!
We've faced lots of rain. We actually bought the Disney ponchos. The price was $8-10 depending in child vs adult. When going in the cooler months I recommend packing extra socks at least bc you can't really buy those in the parks. I've been rained out all day at Epcot twice. We did leave MK 2 summers ago when it poured and started flooding, but that was near dinner time so we got most of our day in.
@@tiffanyhatcher310 the price of the ponchos isn't terrible then! I was thinking it would be much worse! I usually will wear Crocs too but I didn't change into them in time 🤦🏻♀️
@laurenjoya yes! I have been wearing Crocs all year now at Disney. If it is cold, I will wear socks with them in the morning. Only our first trip down there in 2014 was actually cold enough to not be able to wear them
It rained both our park days as we where going in lol 😂 like poured 😂 that sandwich looked bomb af 😂 lmfao young love lol mine had one to at her bday party 😂
@@itsPriscillaMarie it's so hard to get excited when it's raining at Disney but any day at Disney is better than at home lol Hahaha the little boy was so cute. Jose was like "I don't like it. He has no job" lmao
@@kimer8375 oh definitely! I saw a lot of adults there and I also thought some of the food was more geared towards adults... Like the soup was a mushroom bisque if I remember correctly. I thought it was all delicious although some people didn't like it. I suppose it depends on your taste palette but the characters were great too!
@@kimer8375 yes plus tax and tip. I ended up using 2 dining credits for this one. You may want to do the math and see if it's worth it to do that instead of paying the $65
I agree on the soap situation! I always pack hand pump soap for the sink. Also, I use Bare Minerals (mineral powder) make up at Disney - built in sunscreen and it takes longer to sweat off, I feel.
@@tiffanyhatcher310 that's a great tip! I think I'll throw a soap in our luggage for the next trip! I bought some mineral sunscreen powder but haven't used it yet!! 💖
This is heartwarming and wonderful and beautiful and adorable and this brings back great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).
@@missjudy717 just randomly! I didn't ask for it. I'm guessing because I only booked one night originally..I ended up changing it to two nights after we got the upgrade
