Another niche tip with hermit that you couldve done at 10:18 is that his polarit actually works on journalists orphy 😮 you couldve downed the priestess and painter by hitting it, though its so specific that it rarely happens
Hello Slade, I have a question, how do I deal with a batter that keeps me from picking up a downed survivor? I tried getting to him but there were too many windows and pallets so I really dont know what I could've done in that situation
When dealing with batter/cowboy you use that survs leech to pick them up then switch to your spawn follower to either hit batter/body block the ball, or hit the surv if they get knocked free
I’m honestly not too sure because I only play pc, but in my experience once you’re familiar with looking at the map from a Birds Eye pov you’ll be able to get faster with using his consoles on mobile.

Imo dream witch is like the third best hunter after opera and ivy and i think she will always be somewhat relevant in the meta if she didn't take so long to learn id play her i just dont think im ready to learn her yet
it doesnt take long, just play and dont care if you get 3 escape at first, play her in a funny way, like a game, i used to play her with listening or teleport just for the sake of having fun
I started playing in 2020 and my hunter anxiety got so bad towards 2023 that as id queue up for matches my heart would pound so hard and id legit get nauseous. I was always afraid of the survivors who would come and harass in large groups for no reason other than to be annoying and the ones who would emote and stand at the gate. There was a period of time for a couple months where id ONLY play custom matches with bots, because i did love playing hunter but the toxic emoting survivors were just genuinely too much for me 🥲 anyways i still very much do have hunter anxiety, but its not as bad as before and im actually able to play real matches again. I do think the biggest advice is to just stop playing for a while because i took about a year long break
As an A badge mad eyes player, I always want to bring “impulsive “ trait so I can do a charged attack and gain a speed boost to hit a survivor since his chase is a bit terrible. Also, I don’t usually carry confined, but I rather take trump card with me (blink at start) and then switch to something else in case I really need it. That’s if I want to break pallets fast, I apply at least one on the “destructiveness” trait.
Sadly he cannot teleport up into 2nd stories :( I hope they consider buffing that, it's rare that hunters can play around 2nd stories well anyway so it shouldn't hurt to give it to him imo. I ASSUME the chip damage outside of cages is to control how much resources a down will take and to prevent snowballing? i.e. for example if someone gets an early/unexpected hit without ability, they would only take chip, and he can't follow it up with a single cage and down them with only one cage used. It kind of depends on how much resentment he has at the start though, because if he has enough for 2+ cages anyways I'm not sure if that would be the reason... 🤔 The chip hit couuuld work to counterplay some survivors and work in niche situations, but it does feel a bit odd still, and it probably won't feel "good" to play because any "unexpected" hit opportunity will just end in a chip or might be wasted because you have to put down a goddamn cage first.
the chip dmg was also so random to me bc it seems like smth to nerf him so he isnt too strong. makes me wonder what they found when testing his skills w/ regular dmg. but i would like to see what happens if hes given 0.75 dmg like joseph inside the cage and HIS chip dmg outside!
