The label on the scope says AGM It's actually a HIK Thunder scope made in China and sold in countries other than the USA under its real name and at a far lower price than AGM charge in the USA Fact - the AGM Rattler V2 50-640 is the same scope as the HIK Thunder TQ50 V2 On the AGM website, the rattler sells for $4944. In the UK, I can buy the same scope (but branded HIK rather than AGM) for less than $3000
I am torn between the 35 384 and the 50 640. I am not really seeing that big of a difference between them for a $2000 difference. So what are the major differences? Now with the 750 there is a big difference but it is out of my price range.
I think you need a better set…black hardware against your black shirt…against your black table…against the black background. Kind of hard to see the product. Maybe have a higher power light over your hand and table just to give a bit more halo light…if you still want to keep the dark motif If you don’t believe me; then, why add the red orange or amber led on those AR? Also added a red orange gel when showing a close up of the optics.
Thanks for the side by side, the difference seems relatively small. Great clarity all around. Now throw an LRF on it and you will really have something special! I also suspect like my Rattler V2, what you see through the scope is even significantly clearer than the video. Again, good stuff.
@@atr00157 Its a solid thermal for what it is Small lightweight with loads of features no extra bells and whistles that I wont ever use I put a lot of research into what thermal I was going to purchase
Great topic, don't necessarily agree with your thoughts but thats ok, I started with a clip on, went to a dedicated unit and returned to yet again a clip on. The reason I prefer the clip on is if the unit packs it in or you get caught out with flat batteries remove the unit clip on your Olight and keep hunting, your outing is not fully wrecked, doesent happen you might say or carry spare batteries, well in 4 years I had 2 major failures with the dedicated unit which was sent off for warranty leaving me weeks without a scope, by the same token I had the propriety battery pack it in on my clip on, again leaving me without a usable unit. Having used thermal for the last 6 years as a professional feral controller in my experience the clip on is more versatile and safer in a breakdown, oh and both scope and clip on's were top end units, they stuff up also not just the budget or mid range ones.
Hope one day you offer a 1x-3x which would be great for me since I hunt in Piney woods, cutovers, river bottoms with occasionally open fields, pipelines and powerlines
This is crap. Stop with the operator marketing. and stop showing off eye glow. You will get people killed. They must be worn with eyecups in a warzone. You're disrespecting viewers. Many want them for outdoorsmanship, forest and fire monitoring, safety rescue and missing persons, stargazing, camping and such. When MCP designs came out, they were planned to help people with retinitis pigmentosa, except the cost remained too high. So take it easy with the goon angle. In WROL most of you will perish from dehydration as water gets depressurized.
I run the Fuzion LRF TM50-640 monocular on a tripod for spotting hogs were running off camera when the shooting started. Now its mounted on a rifle tripod on the left of gun so when the gun swings left or right it's on . I want to thank you for your distributor FERAL TEXAS OUTDOORS where I bought it they walk me through it . Lots of great hunts i can record. Thank you for a great thermal.
