I am still trying to get through this career challenge, mainly waiting for animals to be available in the market.. One thing I did was move the tortoise in the area that the hyena's use to be which allowed me to expand the Mandarins area and then I added some premade climbing structures.
That is a great idea! That’s one reason why I like these challenges, there are so many ways to complete the same objective. And I never thought about doing that.
Im thinking about it I really have not made a decision on that just yet. IM thinking that I may... I do have a current series going in sand box if you havent seen that yet
The stairs to the forage round is adorable. The purple lighting in the greenhouse looks so nice. I do agree with Sparrow that the plants might need some mulch or potting to be a touch more realistic. Where do you get your inspiration? I noticed you didn't use the mud pillar trick to make the round enclosure. Was it because the floor pieces were on the grid that it was able to come out so nicely round?
Thanks actually Sparrow gave me the idea to change the lighting to purple. I am definitely going to go back and add some planters or something to make it look better it really was a great idea! She always has great ideas. I don't really remember where I found the inspiration for the building itself but to answer the other question since the pieces are on the grid they are really easy to just duplicate and keep moving them around. The wall pieces are on the grid too. they are the plaster wall top I think is the name of them.
This is SUCH a cool building! I personally don't mind the floor, but maybe adding some patches of mulch around the planting would make it feel nicer? You could line each 'planter' with faux rocks too. Or, you could also put pots on some of the plants to make it look like they can be moved in and out.
I never thought to add a donation box at the end of the rides. Awesome that it worked I am totally going to need to try that now in my own journey through the career mode.
I didn’t know if it was going to work either. Just something I tried and it worked I was shocked but it’s also kinda funny I’m glad that you are going to be using it your zoos
This is rhe first vid of yours ive seen and all i can say is you're incredibly underated, amazing builds and peak narration, all that on top of starting the video with a story to give meaning to everything, i can definitely say you earned a sub
Thank you so very much that was really nice of you to say! its comments like this that really help to keep me going! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the vid and welcome!
Hey everyone! I know some of you are new and are playing on console, the gameplay is NOT the same on PC and I play on PC. I wish I could do a let's play on the consol however I do not have the funds at this time to afford the console. I have recently found another Planet Zoo Content Creator who is playing on Console his channel is about the same size of mine, below is the link to his channel go show him some love and also may be will be able to answer questions about the console. ------> www.youtube.com/@Frankie_Rogers_Games
So if you are needing to complete research, you will need a research facility, then you will need to have a mechanic to do the research. Goin to the zoo menu and select the research tab the assign someone to the task.
@@phildean6884 if you are playing on PC I am not sure if it would be the same on console, go to the facilities tab, then under staff facilities you will find the research center you place it like an other building.
@@phildean6884 Hey I know it chan be stressful trying to learn to play a new game and the game play is sooo different on the console as the PC the following is a link to another content creator who is doing the same play through just on console ---------> www.youtube.com/@Frankie_Rogers_Games I wish I could help you more, also this link in now in the pinned comment of this vid if you loose it
I love the story you've put together for this zoo! I've been working on a new zoo story myself recently. If you did want to make the greenhouse a bit more realistic, purple lights would make more sense (grow lights are usually purple). You could also add some vines / small green leaves between the vegetables-some of the tangled liana vines work well for that, as do lords-and-ladies plants and the underwater temple plants!
Thank you for the great ideas, I was really struggling to figure out how to make the plants look a bit more realistic! I had no idea what color to make the lights in the greenhouse, they come red and I thought red ( heat) was okay maybe lol... for the storyline I felt like it just adds another level to the story of why are we doing this. I would be very interested to see the story you come up with! You always have such great content.
The story with Dr. Benjamin Wilder is awesome. I was also a part of the 4H association during my high school years. As a military/farmer kid I found it helpful at home. The information proved useful later on since I am now a science teacher. Name suggestions --- EcoQuest Animal Reserve, EcoPride Nature Reserve, Harmony Zoo, or Nature's Haven Zoo.
I’m so happy that you enjoyed the video! And thank you so much for the names suggestions. The 4H is a great organization and I definitely want to spotlight their outreach in the community!
***Reminder We are going to be naming the Zoo NEXT week, if you have name suggestions please leave them below! **** Also how do you feel about the story driven content?
I would really love to be able to do that and honestly I have already looked into that. However right now I’m just not able to afford a console to be able to do that. Hopefully one day in the near future though
You are so right about that, thank you for reminding me that I can do that. It's been a while since I have played in sandbox. I will definitely take a look at that. I hope that you enjoyed the episode.
Thank you so much for the kind words, the channel is growing day by day, and tbh I would rather have steady growth than grow too fast I don't know if I could handle that 🤣😂🤣
@ASKScottyk thank you so much for the kind words! I will never forget about you guys, everyone here is the reason that I am able to do this, I love the feedback it really lets me know that I am on the correct path. Thank you again for the kind words and encouragement! I hope you have a great day.
I dont know why but something about the whole "lets learn how to fly around the zoo" makes me smile at how just mater of fact it is like, yes all zookeepers fly
i definitely really like your grizzly cave. i actually tried to do the same thing with this park of course mine did not come out great because I'm very new but maybe ill try again now :)
Yeah for sure keep trying! A lot of what I do will be rebuilt a few times before I am really happy with it, it also helps to be inspired, you can look in the workshop to find items that you like and you can use them or just get inspired by them.
i just found your channel and ive binge watched all the episodes so I'm very excited to see whats next! i just got the game myself but once they release you on your own I got overwhelmed with debt right away. so I've enjoyed seeing you do the career mode and taken some ideas from it
I worked on some of the setting during about the last 3rd of the video, trying to improve the video and the audio I hope you are able to tell a difference and enjoy the changes!
