Typically takes no more than a week to create your Genesis account and review history. Your recruiter will have to submit and process you for a date at the MEPS. This will start the process
@@owensmattI’m currently in “A” school for being an MA and one of my instructors told me that Bahrain is a no tax zone and when I saw your video made me think that being stationed there would be nice money wise
Do they search your medical documents/ history withought permission now, can’t you wave the search with privacy act 1974 and refuse them to search records?
Negative. You authorize it when you sign the consent; it's part of the prescreen paperwork. Realize why they are review previous records; it's to protect the service and to protect you.
I was prescribed a low dose antidepressant last year but never took it.. It was set up on auto delivery until it cancelled itself in February of this year. Im trying to go air force and i'm finding that you have to be off medications like that for 36 months.. Will this DQ me even though i didnt need the meds just because it was within that 3 year mark?
Hello I got disqualified because of having hypothyroidism and needing to take meds for it, is there a weiver I can get for it or is it just straight disqualified
Hypothyroidism is a DQ but since you're actively taking meds the service providers will need to review and see if it's allowable for service. Some factors may allow it depending.
I’m trying to get into the coast guard I failed my hearing test 3 times I have no prior hearing problems and honestly don’t even know how I failed. Does anyone know what’s most likely going to happen? I’m very anxious about weather I’m going to get approved or not
Thank honestly will depend on your market location. You don't want to lower it too much and drive the market down to where you are leaving money on the table but you also need to continuously watch how the others you are competing for are pricing. I would set it to automatic pricing for Turo to decide depending on the demand & then i would also edit some days if i wanted it to be higher.
Typically between 8-12 weeks. It depends when you check-in & when you class up. I was luckily to have orders to check in two week after my class started but had to make up the missing test. Others that checked it after I did had to wait even longer for our class to complete the training, graduate and then for the next class to begin.
Man I really want USMC OCS. Ive been on Zoloft for almost a year, Im weaning off but I really dont wanna wait the 3 years. I'll be 28 by then and I'll need even more waivers
@@JAS-rw5lq good luck to you. Hopefully the waiver gods are in your favor. I interviewed with an OSA and she said the most common disqualifying factors are anxiety/adhd meds. I hope the Military in general eases up some of those expectations, I want to serve and grow as a man and an American
This is due to the high stress and demand every branch of service will do to each individual. They are protecting you and themselves by holding a pretty strong standard. I promise you, there are many other options in this world we live in that will allow you to serve for a greater good and grow as a man.
Depending a certain factors like how long ago it was prescribe, how long ago you were last on it, and the types of medications; service specific would review and come up with a determination.
Here I am, someone wanting to be an honor guard for any branch, respecting sailors who seem like family. A lot of my family joined the Navy and Marines so when I see both of them, I feel pride. 99% of family also wants to be cremated so it’ll be very likely that if one of them wants to have a burial at sea, I’ll either watch a video provided by the Navy themselves, or I’ll be on a private boat a few miles into sea near Pearl Harbor (because my Grandpa severed USS Missouri) to sprinkle my Grandfather’s ashes into his favorite place in the world, the sea. Fly high sailors, Anchors Away!
Typically, MEPS records are only required to be held for 5 years and then destroyed. If you never processed past MEPS then your records should have been destroyed years ago.
I've heard some of the process and school house requirements have changed but it should still be around 19 weeks after you class up. Some times waiting to class up can make that shorter and/or longer.
I got DQ'd yesterday because I voluntarily went to a hospital to speak to a counselor (was only there two hours). She put that she "thinks i may have undiagnosed ADHD, anxiety, and/or cluster B". It was not an official diagnosis and I never took any medication but they still DQd me. After I provide the documents they want, how likely do you think it is that ill be approved? Air Force, if that matters.
Typically you go with the ship date the service gives. There are times you can request to push that date and other times that date may change and you ship out sooner than expected. It depends on the needs of the service
Typically you'll get a ship date after you complete everything at MEPS. Some complete everything in one day, others will go to MEPS a few trips before they finally get a ship date.
Hey I recently went to meps this week , and the doctors can pull up anyone whole medical history with the new laws they have , the doctor asked me if I ever went to the ER or broke any bones I told him no. Then a minute later he pulls up the record on the computer and it shows everything 😂are they gonna disqualify me from joining for “lying “ , or does it not matter because they had the documents anyway?
