In my opinion, I think bands that perform with playback are very ugly, I don't think it's cool, it's very annoying, it's good when the band plays and sings without playback
These Metallica fans just really don't get what a masterpiece this band is. And the sound is terrible, sounds very quiet, Sounds like a dollarstore speaker.
It's kinda ok-ish for Metallica, because they have 4 drumsets and rotate it every 3-4 songs to give a show for every corner of the stadium for at least a while. Support bands are stuck with a jogging session in a circle. And the screens do block the view for the upper rows, but it was not really the case on this stadium I see. Yesterday in Warsaw, we could not see a quarter of the show because of them. But then - the seats were so high, we could barely see band on the stage anyway
@@jutjib297they still play old songs at headline shows. Why would they play insanely heavy metalcore tracks for a bunch of retired Metallica fans? The point of an opening act is to attempt to target a new demographic. It’s not selling out, it’s literally how the music industry has worked since the beginning of time…

Nah, it was actually alright, they were moving around the stage, so everyone could see all members of the band, and also even relatively close to a stage it was not so crowded that you can't step any direction.
I’m with @dog5047. I was there and that’s actually my only complaint from the whole concert. The first 2 songs I only saw glimpses of James and Kirk. I didn’t see Lars at all basically for the first 5 songs. Maybe of the stage was a bit lower this could work. And whenever someone came even close to where I was people felt the compulsion to start filming so then there was a wall of cellphones in front of me. Other than that 10/10
How are metallica fans always the most dogwater fans in existance? Every time I see a support in a Metallica concert it painful to watch with those gatekeeping soft mfs
