@@rhombicosidodecaherdrons8984 Their old design was sticking out too much when grabbing the mogo. I thought that the rings might get in the way of the mech clamping onto the mogo. It isn't about legality. I just thought it was possible it might not work.
I'm pretty sure the reason your v5 pneumatics was leaking is because the fittings were not tight enough. If you are sure your fittings are tight, try wrapping some teflon tape around the thread of the fitting. If you are gonna use the SMC pneumatic parts, you pretty much HAVE to put teflon tape or else it will leak. The air leakage might also have something to do with your tank jiggling around agressively.
Hi there, all the h - drive x-drive etc. Is really not necessary. X-drive is quite slow and h-drive can easily be pushed. I'd recommend standart drive, if you want it to be fast, a simple 4 wheel 4 motto drive would be fine. If you it to be strong, you can do 4 motor 6 wheel with appropriate gear ratios
Here’s a tip, in my opinion it will be challenging to get the stake under the clamp while moving and in the middle of a competition, i will be competing in this one too, best of luck!
Robot kinda looks like my dog… drool that sways and a stomach that jiggles. The only difference is that the robot actually moves and listens to you. 😂 Nice build, tho.
If you had a double piston motor mech then the goal would tilt instead of staying up straight when clamped to your robot. As well as a small piece of c-Chanel that acts a scoop. In this case, you wouldn’t need that extra wobbly section of your intake on the top.
Nice bot! One word of advice from experience is move where your battery is held. If another bot runs into it or you just have bad luck, it can easily get disconnected which is an unfortunate way of going out. Other than that, good luck for the rest of the season!
