Scenic Train Excursion and Mine Tours located in the Rocky Mountains of Georgetown, Colorado! Live the Old West and Explore the Colorado Rockies by Rail!
Could you guys do a short documentary or Wikipedia page of 40s history? All I know is that she was built for the I.R.C.A railroad and came up here some time in the 20th century
Loved the Bluegrass music accompaniment but better yet loved the train ride along the Georgetown Loop Railway Saturday June 11, 2019 taken with my friends Leandras Jones Jr and Mary Stahl. The quaking Aspens there are my favorite why I planted them in our yard here in Missouri! I hope to get back to Georgetown someday soon! Thanks Roger Hogan for all that you did for this special Railroad to keep it's history alive for generations to come! Green Signals and Blue Skies my friend RIP~
"Early silver miners around Georgetown frantically searched the hills for Dragon's Blood. Finding the Dragon's Blood could make them rich beyond their wildest dreams! Come take a mine tour with us to find out why."

What a cool concept, taking us from the grainy "distant past" to the modern day. All you needed was a little bit of today's music, after giving us the ragtime bit.
There was once a time when number 40 traveled to different Narrowgauge Rail Roads as far north as the White Pass and Yukon route Railroad after that for a while, she operated at the Colorado railroad museum, where she was given a larger, tender that she currently has. I am so happy to see her back where she belongs original home on the Georgetown Loop Railroad.
