Reign an engaging show where all emotions felt straight to the heart. Mary and Francis so beautiful with amazing chemistry! This show is much better than Bridgerton.
Rewatching the series-Lola was jealous of Mary. I’m not sure why I didn’t see it before. Greer and Ayley (not sure of spelling) always had her best interests at heart💕💕
I watched the entire series number of times. It is a compelling narrative full of romance, suspense and intrigue. Mary was a picture perfect queen with extensive romantic entanglements. Unfortunately she was executed on 8 February 1587 at Fotheringhay Castle, in Northamptonshire. Paradoxically, the order of execution was passed on to her by her first cousin Queen Elizabeth 1, illegitimate grand daughter of the king Henry VIII
Mary was a delight at French court. She and Francis married on April 24, 1558. When Henri II died of his joust injuries in July of the same year, Francis (15 yo) and Mary (16 yo) became King and Queen of France, and Francis was named King of Scotland. Their marriage, sadly, lasted only 2 years and 8 months, as Francis passed away from a brain abscess caused by an ear infection in December of 1560. Mary was said to have been “stricken by grief.” So, it’s likely they truly did love each other and that was probably the best two and a half years of her life. It’s said that she fell in love with her second husband, Lord Darnley, and had her only son by him, but never saw the child again after 10 months of age and her marriage to Darnley pretty much fell apart because he was an ambitious ass. I would love to believe that when Mary was beheaded, she woke up just as she did in Reign, next to Francis, the true love of her life.❤
My favorite portrayal version of a Real Love between a King and Queen. So Romantic! Loved the edited mini story of their Love! You don't see too often anymore. 😌❣️
Unfortunately, Bash was not a “real” historical character, only added to create more drama and a romantic rival to Francis for Mary’s affections. In the true story of Francis and Mary, once she arrived in France and joined the court of Henri II, there was no competition for her hand against the Dauphin. (Personally, Bash was my favorite character-mainly because I love Torrance Coombs.)
Rainbow 🌈 team work thriving uniquely caring for one another. Appreciate each other n help n ways ur good at united. An intelligent king does like a bee hive or ant colonies. Nature knows how important it is to love. Feminine ❤so u are loved not hatred k.
During the coronation of Francis and Mary why did Catherine choose to pose her hands in that 'chicken claw' manner? I've watched this series Many times and am always distracted by her hands.🤨
