Hi all , my channel is more about the everyday male or female beening able to build or repair something thus saving money and getting the self satisfaction of accomplishing that .. I research all info on something that I want to build and then pick the best way and ideas that I like from that info ,, then put it together the way I want that . I have alot of RV Tech knowledge and love the industry of it . Lot of other skills from schooling .. Thanks for watching , please like and share ..
Thanks , I rent the Pasd for my trailer , the Spartan tree has been growing in the plastic barrel for 6 years now untill it broke 2 winters ago , and that one was my first time grafting a tree . I`m hoping to move in a year or so and can take these with me then :)
Thanks 😁 , it was a perfect fit and I`m happy with it , can not wait till this one is up and producing apples , Brian told me he has one in his yard and its a better version of the old Sparten tree ..
I've been considering growing an avocado tree in a heavy duty rollable garbage can so that I can easily move it into the house in the winter(I'm in Michigan in the US). I'm thinking at this point it seems like a good idea.
We still haven't found my juicer from when we moved me during Covid in the boxes downstairs. I kept it on the counter and used every week before. Used to run the leftover veggie pulp through a second time and you get more juice out of it. It's definitely a great thing to be drinking, Bill!
I’m having to wash my cherry tomatoes after the fire and smoke here yesterday. Your’s are probably way sweeter because they get more sun where you are. Sorry for missing your birthday! ❤
@@xy3tix1 Hi , I had a Chevy 267 V8 in that truck , when i edited the video I recorded my neighbors Harley sound , I then cut the sound out from my truck in the video and edited in the Harley sound ,, go back 9 years ago in my vid list to this video of me driving the S10 > S10 SAS 2wd to 4wd . You should find it interesting for a complete 2wd to 4x4 swap with a 267 Chevy V8 out of a 1980 Camaro .
Hi , that was 6 years ago and here in Canada we pay alot more for the EPDM material here , by the way I did do this myself and live in this trailer , no traveling is done and at that time it cost me $ 300 for all the metal roofing and supplys :) Thanks for watching .
@@barneywarwick9804 - DO you have anything done to the motor ??? You might get a 5 to 10 Hp gain . 1992 5.2 L Magnum created 230 hp (172 kW) at 4,100 rpm and 295 lb⋅ft (400 N⋅m) at 3,000 rpm.
Hi , I`de say their slightly better , but it all depends on if you have performance goodies installed in your stock engine . If your replacing a stock manifold their a grat option as they are about half the price , they are a pain to install in a stock truck > you should use a grade 8 bolt and performance gasket set to install .
Hi , just watched your jogging video , don`t know what camera your using but a tip that helps alot is to turn on the video stabilizeation on in the video settings , if you didn`t try in that video give it a try and compair them :) well done .
@@88s10Durango It’s an old like 10 year + digi cam. No video stabilization, lol. Plus I was jogging into the wind, which always funks the sound out. The webcam I have at home won’t work with the old desktop, and it keeps shutting down if I use the laptop. Argh, lol.
@Carleen `Hi Carleen , I put the video up because I really liked filming it , I love Christmas and thought other people would like watching it too . We have no choice in what the train driver did , it happened . More reason to be more carefull when aproaching a train crossing . :)
Perhaps your stove is not adequate for this kind of logs. Anyway, it made it time the 2 hours marks, for a complete burning, I guess it will take another 30mins, burn till the fire or braze dies, it was not completely dead when you open it.anyway nice video👍
Hi , I don`t use the stove anymore , switching to a diesel air heater this weekend , I did figure out the problem with the stove though , I had never put a dampner in the chimney pipe to close the air flow down , it was at full open draft all the time so the logs burned to fast , thanks for watching .
@@Nico-rw1uo That will all depend on how much the logs and diesel are this winter . I used to split my own cords of wood years ago but to much work , tryed the logs that one time but they weren1t cheap either , propane is exspenceive here same as diesel but the diesel puts out a nice dry heat whereas the propane has alot of moisture in the air . Will be putting a vid up of the diesel heater about in a week .
👨🌾 I love your garden!! Such a great inspiration to me. I can see you put a lot of work and love into growing! All the hard work it worth it to me to get to see the new growth everyday brings me so much joy! Hi , thanks for watching , I do many things when needed , I get the most joyment doing my little garden here , and I`ve had the two dwarf fruit trees for years now , this winter my Sparten Apple tree broke from all the ice we had here , so I was able to graft the branch onto it and now I`m really enjoying how fast its growing :) I have 9 more little apple trees I`m growing from seed and will take them when I move in a couple of years to plant on a new property to me , thanks again for watching .Bill
Hi ,, sorry to say but I sold it 3 years ago as I took out the wood stove , it still worked great when I sold it and sold it for $ 30 less than I paid for it . I would sugest if you were to buy one get a larger version ,, 5-6 ton as my 4 ton was a bit more work on the larger cut-offs . Thanks for watching , Bill
Thanks , I`ve been into solar for years on my homemade camping trailer , 410 watts and never use my generator any more . Love your channel , hoping to do my own cabin build in a couple years time , Bill
Hi depends where you live - USA > Canada ? .. I live in Canada and delivered from Ebay cost me $ 125 Canadian delivered ,, don`t know what the Covid price is though lol , mayby $ 5000 lol , just search Ebay ..Have a great Day ..
Hi it worked very well while I had it , used it 2 1/2 years then moved into a house with no woodstove , at that point I sold it for near the same what I bought it for . One thing I found with it was any thing about 12 inchs are larger through the center dimensions it fought with them , I would recomend a 6 Ton version to handle larger wood ,, The Princess brand was good but try to get them when their on sale , Bill
Please tell me what trailer you started with. I am looking at getting a harbor freight 1720 trailer to build out to a concession trailer. How well has your trailer held up? Have you found that it is top heavy where the width between tires is quite narrow? Anything else you can tell me.Thanks.
Hi there was no trailer model name on the one I bought used , it was a 4 ft. X 8 ft. tilting flat deck trailer the fella used to carry his Rideon mower tractor on . I lengthened it and widened it to 6 1/2 ft. Its held up good to this day , I don`t take it on the highway till I upgrade the axle to a 3500 Lb. one .. Here is the link showing the trailer frame when I got it and widening it .. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eHSFeuV7Dag.html
Hi Kristie , it made no difference , the original Epdm ( rubber roofs was white , the metal roofing I put on was also white ,, white to a point reflects the heat , one thing I did not do when I put the metal roofing on was to silicon the lap joints where the metal overlaps each piece ,, in the winter when snow sits on it it will leak through the joint in a few places ,, this summer I`m removing my air conditioner , when I do that I`m removing all the metal and going to put a layer of self stick tar paper over the old rubber roof then reinstall the metal roof with silicon .. Hope this helps you ,, also I live in my trailer and would not recomend this if you travel with your trailer , could be slightly dangerous if a piece where ever to come loose from the wind force when towing it ..
@@88s10Durango It seems like it would be cooler because you have a double roof. The metal roof shades your trailer because you have an air gap. If the metal was touching the trailer it would transfer heat by conduction.
a neighbor helped me , I pulled a spark plug wire , then put a spare spark plug in it and grounded it out , neighbor turned engine over , got spark . next I attached a test light to fuel pump + on the fuel pump , it worked . turned out the fuel pump was no good and there was a somewhat loose ground wire on the fuel pump side ... replaced fuel pump and put a new ground wire on the fuel pump . has worked fine since .. The fuel pumps are expensive ,,, had to order from the USA as here in Canada their obsolete and any place I checked to order one it came frome USA and a big markup price . Its important to know what size fuel tank your truck has , different for a 22 gal. and 16 gal .. H ope this helps . Oh and it was much easier to lift the bed ( box ) of the truck off the frame to get access to the fuel pump .
I have another question if you don’t mind I was wondering should I pull the wire from the distributor cap to check for spark or from the opposite side where the plug is?also does it matter exactly where I ground it?
@@turnupdot2108 Hi pull the wire off the spark plug as you need to put a spark plug back in that end to see if its getting spark ,, I grounded mine to a clean spot of metal on the intake manifold or exhaust pipe , you will still need someone to turn the key to get the motor turning over while you keep a eye on the spark plug to see if it sparks ..
Bills BuildAll thanks again just needed to double check before I give it a try tomorrow morning .i really think it’s my fuel pump too.i will let you know how it turns out!
Mad man buys a brand new camper to only then meticulously and completely dissemble it and then reverse order the pictures in an attempt to convince people he built it.
Thanks ,, if your roof is flat and level I would suggest you run it the same direction as mine , reason being your way the rain & snow will stay up on the roof unless you have one end of the roof lower than the other ,, one thing I did not do and wished I had was run a good silicon on the lap joints to help seal them better .. and to put the metal roofing directly on the plywood ,, I put those cross boards on for support under the metal and on ocasion when I had to go up on the roof my weight buckled a couple pieces ..
