Half decent tune this... was just a lovely time for music, bands cropping up producing either one or two tunes or en EP or album that hold their worth now, like this... very lucky to have been around then... I feel blessed to have been a lad during Two Tone, then football casual, then rave and indie scenes... very fucking lucky indeed, we will never hear or see or feel anything like those again and I experienced them all - Football Casual was the best for fashion and the indie stuff (Madchester etc) I feel for the music - Rave scene was just the drugs really as that music is in the main dog shit
No band captured the early 90s Zeitgeist like the Paris Angels and Flowered Up. Brings back a lot of memories.. not all of them good! but a powerful record, all the same.
If we get nuked soon (hopefully not …), this will be on my ‘End of the World Party’ playlist - I want to go out in style and with happy memories of my youth ✌️🙌🇺🇦🙏
Rest easy now my friend "Big Si Worrall" remembering the days of Hyde police station in the 80's before you joined Paris Angels and when you was in the band Wait Until Dark, you're so missed my friend by so many.
Heard this whilst out in Berlin on BFBS, maybe a John peel sesh not sure, came home on leave, straight to Action Records in Preston, bought this and another ton of stuff cost me 100 quid+ nowadays they dont know the feeling of waiting for vinyl to drop, take me back NOW!!!
