Yoooo this show was sooo insane i was there with my homeboy. Either in front of you or behind you. But i remember when buddy jumped off the balcony this was the best night of my life. I wish that i could relive this night again 😭😭😭
Oh and them playing Mount Sinai. And new chains same shackles was insane cause like they don't do those songs at their concerts anymore so for them to do those songs was crazy that's that OG fan shit fr
Love the band. But here is a tip, when you are trying to make it don’t alienate 50% of your potential customers speaking on hot button issues. Religion and politics should be left at the door. People listen to this type of music to blow off steam, not hear your agenda.
When I see comments like this my assumption is that the poster either lacks a historical frame of reference for underground punk/hardcore/metal etc or they’re not apart of an actual DIY scene. Saying, “Trying to make it” pretty much highlights that. Culture changes. 25 years ago the “agenda” was straight edge and animal rights. 40 years ago every punk band was screaming about Ronald Regan. The underground will always talk about what’s important to them. Ask anyone who’s been to an Earth Crisis show in the 90s. If you don’t like the messaging don’t listen. There are plenty of bands that will be generic and neutral for a “potential customer”, right?
Playback is okay, but not so loud. These songs are very hard to perform live, even song recordings are just combinations of separately recorded vocal parts. I feel like it’s the mic volume thing actually. Even though you can hear that Witchy’s mic is tuned louder, it’s still not enough for his style of half-whisper rap. And I guess playback just interrupts his vocals. Same stuff with KAMAARA, do not ressurect and TWENTYTHREE. If they performed like they do in recordings, nobody would’ve heard them.
ngl this a legendary moment right here. pretty sure this is the only time theyve performed together. We need a tour of these 2 + glaive and midwxst. complete headliners
