Can I use potato starch instead of glutinous rice flour for regular mochi ?what will be the difference in taste and texture? It will still authentic mochi?
You need to add good quality chocolate pieces to your chocolate base and mix until they melt. It improves the flavor. Thanks for the idea of that bottle with a cap, it looks cute
Tried this recipe today. While the madeleines were soft n crisp while fresh from oven, the lemon taste isnt as strong as I'd like so perhaps i need to increase the amount of zest and juice😊 only used zest from 1 small lemon. sadly there wasnt bump in my madeleines despite chilling for 2hour before baking. THANK YOU. Just made this yesterday, and I loved this recipe! I used almond milk rather than soy or regular and it came out nice. My only issue was it felt slightly dense after it finished cooling fully, but I think I either over or under beat my eggs, so be super careful during those steps. Otherwise an amazing recipe that the family loved, and I will be making again!
