I remember listening to this song when I was a barista in Chicago. The lights would dim, and our regulars would come in around 9pm because we were one of the only coffee shops open late. I remember these nights so fondly. 8 years later this song sticks so close to me.
I used to use Pandora to fall asleep and i remember this came on when I was just dozing off and man that was the most dream like state I've even been in and i can't replicate that feeling again.
Lyrics: Sweet disposition Never too soon Oh, reckless abandon Like no one's watching you A moment, a love A dream, a laugh A kiss, a cry Our rights, our wrongs A moment, a love A dream, a laugh A moment, a love A dream, a laugh Just stay there 'Cause I'll be coming over While our blood's still young It's so young, it runs Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop to surrender Songs of desperation I played them for you A moment, a love A dream, a laugh A kiss, a cry Our rights, our wrongs A moment, a love A dream, a laugh A moment, a love A dream, a laugh Stay there 'Cause I'll be coming over And while our blood's still young It's so young, it runs Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop to surrender Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop 'til it's over Won't stop to surrender
I heard this in a Barnes & Nobel a couple days ago and I’ve been going crazy trying to find this cover. But at long last I can rest knowing where to find it
I don't know who Octacia is or who Greene is but if those glad names have been mentioned before this illustrious song, I bet they are names of fine and remarkable people. Anyway, I find history exciting and if there is any historic interest in the things I spotted, let me know. Thanks.
There is an acoustic version of this from a Dermot O'leary Saturday Sessions CD I used to own and it is in my opinion an absolute gem of a tune. Not on RU-vid mores the pity, finding this has inspired me to dig it out if possible. If you like this you are likely to love the acoustic version. Thanks for sharing, absolute mint version of an already great song.
