For English viewers: 0:03 - Joking about how the white in the French flag is ironic given their quick surrender in WWII, as well as their defeat in the Napoleonic Wars. He mentions there used to be some "tea bastard" in reference to the UK. 0:08 - Discussing Japanese work environments and comparing them to being slaves; this type of work environment, however, is common place in ALL of Asia, not just Japan. The phrase "I don't have anything to do, so I'm doing a straight fist thrust" references a 2chan post while "I've been lonely for 2,600 years" mentions how Christmas in Japan is generally NOT spent with friends and family, given that Christmas is a Christian holiday, and most Japanese aren't Christians. "Everyone seems to be having fun with the Axis" is, of course, referencing the Japanese Empire being part of the Axis. 0:19 - Finland is discussing Finnish drinking habits alongside Christmas, sarcastically calling it "Alcoholic Santa"; he also discusses their close relations with Estonia, and laments them not being part of the Nordic Council. 0:30 - Poland discusses how much they get divided in history (including the French Revolutionary Wars and World War II) and their relationship with Lithuania as part of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. 0:41 - Estonia laments not being part of the Nordic Council, referencing Finland's statement from earlier. "Getting drunk and ramming a tank into another country" is probably referencing the Winter War between Finland and the USSR in 1939-1940. Finally, they bring up basically all atrocities caused by Britain and her colonies including the Opium War, the Boer Wars, Brexit, etc. 0:56 - The "seal" part of the name references Canada's northern position. "My father used to light candles in Stargagy Pie" references the relations between Canada and their "father", with Stargagy Pie being a British pastry dish. 1:04 - 69 is the amount of years the USSR lasted, and "Of course you don't like it, it's the anniversary of your death" references how, in some time zones, it collapsed on the 25th of December 1991 (most sources, however, cite 26th as that's when it collapsed in most Russian time zones). "Oh, I won against a guy like Santa" is another call back to Finland and the Winter War, although it was more of a pyrrhic victory given how utterly humiliating the struggle was (same goes for the Continuation War; the Soviets won and got more land, but they lost ridiculous amounts of soldiers to the relatively small Finnish army).
