Does this still work? I tried several times without success. Seems like they changed something with the last update, as there are lights on the ceiling and wooden planks now. Maybe something else was changed that affects the setup?
The setup works. Make sure you're doing everything as detailed at 0:38 ... when you switch to holding up instead of right, if your inputs overlap, even for one frame, then it will fail. Also if you wait for Lara to stand up before pressing up, it will fail.
@@wjm4elements Yup - you can alternate between any of F2/F3/F4 keys and game will advance 1 frame at a time. Only a feature on the PC version of the game. Btw, ESC (aka inventory buffering) advances the game by 2 frames each time.
I have followed this speedrun to help me learn glitches to achieve the achievement of completing the game in less than 5 hours and with less than 86 saves, and I just achieved it in 2:14 hours. Excellent run
running jump from a stationary position - takes slightly longer for the jump to activate.. this setup ends with a curving running jump, so the angle is wrong now because you curve too much because the jump comes later
All the glitches and setups should be the same on console - I can't say for sure though as I haven't seen anyone try it yet. We're waiting for the patch to be released, and this **might** alter the way some glitches work, but probably not.
@@julesb7783I think you're talking about the "wall bug" where you jump into a wall and teleport up? @@tom_bow_ Thank you my friend, I will look at their video and get some ideas. I initially asked as I'm no speed runner, but I am a trophy hunter. There's one to complete the game in under 5 hours, this doesn't scare me but my current time is just under 10 hours (don't judge me), so watching videos and getting some ideas is really helpful. That run is a TAS, so a different category of speedrun. Also it is not unbeatable as there are strats and optimisations that have been found since Troye made their TAS

good stuff. im not sure if you are aware but i think the epic games patch had sidestep nudges in it, so that might change things on these setups if they keep that behaviour on new patch
