Great video! Thank you for not editing the raw footage into two second cuts or adding a music bed. Freediving is calm and relaxed, and the natural sounds of the sea is the most beautiful music on Earth.
haha thanks, i uploaded it mainly just to share with friends and family so they could see what it's like underwater in kona. while it might not have the diversity of reef life of indonesia, the countless swim thrus and visibility make it special in its own way. i totally agree about the sound tracks and 2 second cuts, i guess if i'm in need of an epileptic seizure they're useful though.
It looked less than 2m so I wasn't too worried, but it was more interested in us than any other reef shark I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot, so I was keeping my guard up. I think it probably thought we were spearfishing and was interested in stealing our catch. Eventually it figured out we weren't so interesting and took off.
