This channel came about so I could create and share my travels and life on the road in a 1997 Roadtrek Camper Van. I now travel in a 2014 Phoenix Cruiser. "Shalom" is a word meaning peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, and tranquility. It is often used to say both hello and goodbye. There is depth and compassion conveyed by the word "Shalom". I find Shalom as I Roam and I want to share it with others.
Nature is the beauty I am blessed to wake up to, enjoy throughout each day, and am lulled to sleep in. Hiking and walking various terrains are my gym. The sun, moon, and beautiful surroundings are often the subjects of my camera.
I typically dry camp without services or amenities. My electrical needs are met by solar power which charges my house battery.
I hope you enjoy as I share my life as a Free Range Human living one new memory at a time in my tiny home on wheels. If you like my content, please subscribe and ring the bell for notifications.
Hello there! You are so correct. There’s nothing like seeing things with your own eyes. Wish I had explored NM more when I was stationed in Clovis, NM. 😁 Adding: these videos take us where we haven’t been or can’t go. Thank you!🙏
@@judyweigl9604 hey Judy! I wish the camera was true to what the eyes see but at least it gives us an approximation. New Mexico has a lot more cool scenery than I knew about. 🤗😘
@@ShalomOnTheRoam It sure does. I had five years to explore NM, but had not run across wonderful people, like you, who traveled and explored. There were many places my two kids and I could have traveled to on weekends. Missed opportunities. Oh, well, trying to make up for it now and watching great content like yours. 👏❤️
@@judyweigl9604 aww, you are too kind. ☺️ I missed a lot of opportunities simply because I thought I was too busy to take the time to explore. I'm happy I get to do that now. Thank you sweet friend. 🙏🏻
@@22wolfsong hey Sylvia!! Combating is a very interesting historical area. You've gotten quite a ways south again!! Wish we would have had a little time to catch up but I'm glad you're better now.
The St. James is closing in 7 days.😭 Check Santa Fe New Mexican. I'd love to see Kevin Costner buy it! The Oxford Hotel in Denver is super haunted. I stayed there some years back and had a hair raising experience. Just wondering if you've covered that crazy place.
Wow, I didn't know it was closing. That's sad. My friends and I ate there and it was good food. Some of the hotel guests at the time I visited expressed their delight in staying in a "haunted" hotel. I've not been to the Oxford in Denver. Thank you for sharing this info!
Thank you Barb. I guess I'm becoming a bit of a history buff myself since I've been taking the time to read and do voice overs for the places I've been visiting this summer. 😊
Very cool, thank you. I appreciate that you give some actual history of places you visit and not just camera views. Found your channel a few months ago.
I keep wondering why I bother to do a voice over to give historical information because it takes quite a bit of extra time. However, since I've started doing this on some of my videos, I've been learning a lot more about the places I visit so I suppose it's a good thing. It helps when people like you take the time to let me know you appreciate it. Thank you so much!
