Thanks Billy Beautiful ocean view and nice touristy place! Looks quiet and no one right where you’re at! That Oceanna resort still looks the same! It’s fun to find places you remember from back when! Yeah no one around! Seems like fun to a younger self! Nice ocean resort from back in the day! Oh yeah hear that one person! I’m sure you enjoyed that place as a kid! Great memories for you Billy!😊🥰👦
I just ran across this I am a former Biomedical Engineer... Maintained defibs for quite a while..Also on my desk here is a capacitor from an old monitor at GWU hospital IN DC.. Reagan was hooked up to this monitor during surgery after the attempt on his life. I fixed the monitor years later thought about and just hung onto the bad part...interesting paper weight. I get a kick out of stuff like this.
Our home in Kinston flooded that year. Beautiful renovation afterward, though. NLHS hawk here.’94. Didn’t know that was the skating rink. My daddy was a civil war buff as well. Cool video of the ‘ole stomping grounds.
Are you kidding!! That is my Precious Wife of 38 years that I Love and she is holding things in her life to a High Standard!! If you don't have a woman holding you to a High Standard I feel sorry for you!! It's not complaining..
@@weeklyspaguy you don’t have to explain it to me, I got 34 years under my belt with mine…. I just made an observation that popped up in my head, whether it was right or wrong…. Definitely didn’t come on here trying to disrespect anyone.
Dayton is my hometown. I moved away 34 years ago. You showed me some things I'd never seen before! The Henry Ford museum and Greenfield Village are definitely must sees!
Thanks Billy and Trey Love to see the beginnings of aviation in its infancy! Really Appreciate these videos to take us to actual places we would otherwise probably not ever get to see perhaps know about in our lifetimes! Great places in history! I do think I seen the Henry Ford Museum on one of my childhood summer vacations! But don’t know if we got to any Wright Bros! Historic sites! Always interesting and informative videos!👍👍🙏prayers for anyone in the paths of these 2 back to back hurricanes Helene and Milton!🌪️💨🌊💦
Thank you super sluths Mr. Spa Guy and Mr. Trey. You definitely tightened up and did not double dribble 😎 !! Safe travels and adventures. God bless and keep you and your families ❤🙏.

Hi Billy, Spa Guy! We lived in Florence, Ky, years ago just across the bridge from Cincinnati where my aunt and cousins lived. It’s good to find you on here, I didn’t know about this show. I’ve usually commented on your Elvis shows. Get a 3 way or 4 way at a Chile Parlor while you’re there. It’s chile spaghetti and it’s so good! Bye for now 👋
3:14 I am surprised that KZIM, which is on the other side of the street from the Federal Building, isn't mentioned. Rush broadcast from there many many times. Even after becoming famous, he would use their studios to air his show while in town to see his family.
Apparently the ranch was never in Jerry's name and was in a trust in Jerry's road manager's which died in 2013. When Jerry passed the son of the road mgr and Jerry the 3rd fought over who owned it. It was sold in 2023 again for 1.6 million and is still going to be a museum.
I live across the bridge just 20 miles from downtown Memphis. It's so sad to see the derelict buildings and homes in the downtown and midtown areas of Memphis, which, in my opinion, are the best parts of Memphis. The inside of 100 North Main, or as it was formerly known as the UP Bank building, was beautiful inside with marble and granite floors and walls in areas. IF this building is going to be destroyed, instead of restored, they should try to remove the granite and marble first because it can be repurposed. They could give it away to folks who could use it for creating art (mosaics, upcycled pieces, etc), making tabletops, or bases for urns or other vessels, or other items a creative person's brain could imagine. It's just a shame that this building wasn't properly upkept over the years so it could've been more readily renovated inside and used as more hotel, apartment, and business office spaces.
The Building You're Speaking Of Is The Corporate Headquarters To 5/3rd Bank That Was Built In 1969. That Was The Building That Stood Behind The Fountain In The Opening Credits Of WKRP In Cincinnati. In 2005, The Fountain Square District Had The Fountain Renovated & Set Facing Towards The Fountain Square Building Instead Of The 5/3rd Bank Corporate Building Like They Did In The 1970's. 💯
Thank you super sleuth Mr. Spa Guy. Another great one. Keep up the great work you do in bringing history to us. Safe travels and adventures 🙏. God bless and keep your family 🙏.
One of if not the greatest episode of WKRP in Cincinnati. Thank you Billy for sharing this. Hope you're doing well. May the Peace of the Lord be with you and your family. God Bless
A couple weeks ago I thrifted a vintage Stockyard Nashville hat. Never heard of it and decided to look it up and found this video. As a former ubexer it was pretty cool to find out it's an abandoned building now. But would've loved to have seen it in its heyday.
It is not abandoned now.. Luckily it was repurposed as the main office with new apartments around it.. It is beautiful and the original brick and some of the bones.. www.bexleystockyards.com/photogallery
