Hello, my name is Eddy Bobby and I am a professional mobile Disc Jockey (DJ) and Master of Ceremony (MC).
I am as diverse as they come which I believe is the key in making your event fun and exciting. If you need me to be outgoing I can provide that as well as presenting a laid back and smooth personality. My experience of more than 1,500 events performed in the DJ industry provides me more polish than many expect or know that is possible. In fact, I have worked with many individual professionals and various sized companies and helped innovate and practice the industry's common phrase “interactive entertainment”!
Here I will post videos of my weekly performances. Hope you enjoy and thank you for your support!
What kind of antenna are you touring with your alto stealth? Also- do you have that somehow connected with your main out? I’m guessing it’s on your booth out- but I run monitors- so trying to plan things out! Thanks for the inspiration!
Argh... I'm a record vendor & bought the pyle pke38 utility cart & have used it quite a bit. Unfortunately I'm just now learning about these on stage ones & they seem much nicer than the pyle brand ones. My unit only has a 200lb weight limit... bummer
Nice video! Currently looking at replacing my old Rock n Roller. Just awful design all around. And they offer these accessories that don't help much at all and are a pain to install and remove (like the extension). My main issue with both carts (and a lot of similar utility carts) is that the handles are much too low. I'm not crazy tall (6'2") and the angle i have to bend to pull the cart is so awkward. Wish theyd at least offer some means of extending it. But youre right about the Gator all-terrain. My bandmate has it and the forks over the wheels have bent twice now. And the roughest terrain we encounter is just dirt, maybe some gravel. These $100 to $300 carts are made for smooth terrain and have very little adaptability. That said, good video, I'll do a trial run of the onstage. Anything to rid myself of the stupid technology that is the pull-wire handle release.
What if your using both XLR inputs for your mics or mic and Lapel and videographer wants to plug into your system? What’s the solution? I really want to purchase the Everse 8 but that’s my only concern.
Thank you! From what I have learned, when you use larger antennas, you need greater distance between them. This system uses quarterwave antennas, so I upgraded to halfwave antennas, hence why I modified the rear of the optional shelf to give me more distance between the antennas. There is an online calculator that gives you your minimum distance between antennas.
@@eddybobby6211 interesting thank you! Would love to know what you used for jumper cables, bnc connectors, and what drill bit size you used if you can remember. Thanks!
Here is what I use to hold the Prime Go. You may find something that is comparable but more affordable in Amazon. www.proxdirect.com/products/view/Articulating-Laptop-Tray-Arm-Pole-for-Control-Tower-DJ-Podium-Flip-Ready-DJ-Cases-White-Finish-XZF-LTARMPKGWH
Been thinking of going full wireless for some events. Nice to see someone else doing it. How did this system perform with a packed room? Also does the sound quality decrease being wireless vs being plugged in xlr?
I have successfully utilized the Alto Stealth Pro system for several years across numerous events, particularly those necessitating wireless transmission to the main speakers due to venue floor plans and layouts. The system has consistently performed impeccably whenever I prioritize the strongest reception signals on each receiver and employ full-wave antennas. The performance of the system notably enhanced when I transitioned from quarter-wave to full-wave antennas. While wireless transmission may slightly reduce sound quality compared to balanced XLR wired connections, particularly in the bass frequencies, it is generally imperceptible to the average attendee. Adjusting the subwoofer level on the unit can effectively compensate for any minor differences.

Thanks for the conparison. Same as others in this thread, I finally decided to get a cart to streamline load-in/out, and like most, started looking at the RnR. I never liked the way the uprights flare and appeaeed losoe, so seeing this made my decision for me. It is being delivered tomorrow and I am excited to use it for my gig this weekend. I just investd in a 6U rack case for my UI16 amd built that out, everything else is either in casters or in flight cases, so this will handle the smaller ones. Thanks for taking the time!
@@eddybobby6211 Thank you! So the lav on the officiant picks up the sound from all three (officiant, bride and groom). I was always wondering if that would be possible or if a second lave was needed for the couple.

Great stuff Eddy! What mobile do you use? For my gigs, I've been putting an iPhone 13 mini on a DJI gimbal and just picked up a Samsung S24 Ultra I'm really excited to try out.
I made my own EV DC out to Sennheiser receiver DC in cable with some parts from Ali Express. Our rigs are VERY similar. I should make a video too :). I really like that you put your cables in a snake.

No! Everse 8 is great for ceremony but not so much for reception. They now have the Everse 12. A pair of Everse 12s would be better for reception. Get a pair of those and a sub, and you are good to go.
It was all custom mounting. I had to install everything about 3 or 4 times before I found a layout that worked well from what you saw. The side rack rails were mounted with spacers and the bottom ProX rack rails were mounted on shelf to hold the knockout panel for the quick connects.
Still going strong. No tire issues. Maybe those complaints are from those overloading the cart. I would contact the manufacturer directly about the complaints you read and see what they say. As for me, no issues.
I use a pair of the Evolve 50s by Electro Voice so they have a 12" subwoofer already, so yes. I have not needed to add any more base. Usually I get complaints to turn down the base on the pair of EV Evolve 50s. Guest count ranges are between 75 to 200 guests so that average is 140 guests.
