Welcome to Speech without Limits! My name is Jeanna Antrim. I have been an ASHA certified SLP for the past 9 years. Since undergrad I have had experience working with AAC and I currently work as an AAC Facilitator in the school system. My videos provide tips and tricks for implementing AAC and providing ALI in the home, while reading books, and during various other activities. Please go check out some of my videos and playlists! I hope you find these videos helpful!
The magnetic ones, you could really do yourself too, print a photo size core board and then get the photo magnet backing from an office supply store (Office Depot, Staples, Amazon, etc) that you can print, laminate and magnetize too.
I got mine from a conference I attended. However, if you contact your Saltillo consultant they should be able to hook you up with a free one! You can also print them for free from their website!
Soo helpful!! I always struggle with ways to communicate with my son beside him requesting food and labeling objects. This makes soo much sense to me! Is it okay to use a core board for another device? My son is using LAMP but prolo is all over the internet.
Thank you so much! I am so glad you found them helpful! You should always use a core board that matches your child's AAC system. Here is a link to a video showing 2 different ways to obtain a free manual LAMP communication board : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d8D47GV1dhQ.html. This video is from the @basscaac RU-vid channel that I co-collaborate on.
Oops! Thanks for the catch! I definitely didn't realize that while making the video. Yes, the core board should have been flipped. And thank you! I am glad you like the videos!
It is definitely a nice video but i cant resist myself if thats a recommendation from Herr Antrim because he is the one who cleared my confusion in active passive in German language :D i wish you to have a great success with this newly launched channel :)
