I think it could also be a result of skinny chic making a comeback because drop waist styles are not very flattering to curvy figures, especially if you have a protruding tummy (unlike high waisted styles which draw the eye to the narrowest part of the waist). Being able to wear drop waist dresses and look good is basically a flex. (Signed, curvy short girl that loves high waisted styles).
Naw. This theory only spplies yo fashion. Not every day bodies. The hourglass figure will always be top tier......always has been. All bodies are good bodies.
As a Brazilian woman with a somewhat hourglass body (though never enough B for Brazilian standards), I believe there is no discussion that an hourglass shape is the most beautiful and feminine shape, regardless of trends. A skinny body is cute and has its charm too. However, this drop-waist fashion is soo ugly and does not complement any body type. For me, the end of big butts and hips would be a positive change, but they are beautiful. I mean the natural ones, not the exaggerated Kardashian type (which is attractive but just unnatural).
women are always having to change themselves to fit in with whatever is 'sexy' or 'cool'. Instead we need to celebrate how diverse women are naturally and be comfortable with our own shape :)
Why do people here not understand that the "trend" is not about your body but about clothes that are meant to give you this body And yes - the hourglassfigure was a trend for years
none of you are correct, body shapes being in fashion or trendy has been around for hundreds of years, it just used to be okay to wear padding and clothes to create that silhouette. Now when people do that they are seen as 'fake' so they get surgery instead. It needs to be okay to change how your body is shaped with clothes and padding rather than surgery. No one used to think that how someone looked in their clothes is how they looked naked.
Definitely over the fake hourglass figures. (People should do what they want but I think the extreme versions of it are ridiculous and detrimental to society as a whole”trend”)
I was a sales associate my job was to sell but I’d never tell a customer something ugly looks good lol especially when I can help them find something else they would love !
It’s just crazy that everyone you showed still had an hourglass figure almost every women has an hour glass figure before the bbl y’all just think all bbls are as extreme as the ones you see on social media it’s time to go experience real life again also if you have a long torso and hips low rise jeans and dropped waist accentuate your hips
And who ever sues them is an idiot that will never win WHY? Cuz 1) Hermes HAS plenty other bags you can get shoes clothes etc it’s not their fault you harp on the TWO bag designs they only special order get something else or leave 2) every single bad is hand made in an atelier house in Europe this isn’t Dior or Chanel or Gucci no robots no mass production line NO FLAWS real gold platinum silver rhodium farms for all their leather exotic as well so they don’t poach or import illegal shady business deal they raise all they animals for all their productions 3) the resale market exist you can buy a birkin bag tomorrow if you wanted to only reason ppl don’t is cuz resale market for a newer or trendier bag is 15-50k where as in store it’s less than a Chanel around 6-11k so ppl are fighting for the right to pay retail and Hermes doesn’t want ur money 4) if Hermes loses they will simply stop all production on the birkknnand Kelly and only sell privately to vvic’s and ur be left to Oran and silk scarf us to death cuz again hermes hand makes their bags they will simply never be a NEW birkin or Kelly in production so what will be the goal to expose something they aren’t hiding ? 😂😂😂 ppl are stupid jealous and greedy
Don’t drink the kool-aid! Beauty and style comes in all shapes and sizes. There is no one look that is fashionable. Being your original self is the biggest fashion statement. Can’t top the original authentic design that is you. Real woman with confidence don’t want to look like a carbon copy of others.
not everyone has an hourglass shape, im glad fashion keeps evolving. i don't get getting surgery for something that isn't broken but to each their own ig
